Departamento Boutique "El Pájaro Carpintero Ixtapa"

Welcome to the Pájaro Carpintero! Located in one of the best buildings in Ixtapa Bay View Grand Residential , our beachfront apartment is one of the most equipped and exciting in the entire building. With a relaxing and authentically Mexican style, we guarantee you a memorable vacation. Our space has been completely renovated and has modern decor, as well as original handicrafts from different parts of Mexico for you to appreciate. Get to know Mexico through the Pájaro Carpintero.

Our building offers a wide variety of amenities, such as a gym, spa, massages, restaurant (Tiburón de la Costa), and tennis courts. For better guest control, there is a mandatory identification bracelet fee of $350 pesos per adult and $250 pesos per child under 12 years old, as per assembly agreement. Additionally, we provide a daily electricity consumption allowance of 10kwh in order to promote conscious electricity use. A meter reading will be taken upon arrival and departure, and any excess usage will be charged at a rate of $5 pesos per kwh.

Our apartment has 1.5 bedrooms, as it includes a small secondary room that is suitable for families or a group of 4 people, ensuring that each person has a space to rest and relax.

Nice, but…

Nice place but bring your own TP and wash cloths. We had to pay extra money for power and we only used one of the A/C units. We would go back to the location but not stay in this unit.

Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend **book any other unit in this complex except this one!Our experience at this VRBO condo in Ixtapa was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we found no toilet paper or trash bags, and the condo was not clean. The television never worked properly, and we had ongoing issues with hot water throughout our stay.Communication with the property owner was frustrating—responses were delayed, and the owner came across as extremely cheap. To make matters worse, we were charged for electricity, even though we made every effort to conserve energy during our visit.Overall, the lack of basic amenities, poor maintenance, and unprofessional management made this stay far below expectations. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
