This beautiful cabin is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Ozarks. The cabin features a private bedroom with two person jetted Jacuzzi tub. There is also a loft with queen bed as well if you decide to bring the kids along. There is a fully stocked kitchen and laundry room. The sunsets from the porch are amazing! You are sure to enjoy this little slice of heaven.

Wonderful time

Quiet and peaceful

Hoot Owl Weekend

We loved our stay at the Hoot Owl cabin on the Mulberry River. The setting is gorgeous and private. The location is perfect for riding or just having a restful retreat.

Great Stay

This cabin is such an amazing place to stay! We had a great time and the cabin was wonderful. We had some issues with electrical but they were very helpful right away! Would definitely stay here again!

Little Piece of Heaven

It was absolutely gorgeous and the cabin was so clean, neat and supplied all of our needs! The location was fantastic and close to the 3 eateries and the views, majestic mountains and breath taking Mulberry River. Set back in time, slow pace and fantastic food, trails, water fall and Kris was the best host ever! We will be back!

Perfect cabin & location

The Hoot Owl cabin is a perfect cabin nestled in the trees. Great location with plenty of UTV riding! We rode for 4 days and still left areas unexplored. The cabin is clean and has everything you need. The field near the cabin provided fabulous star gazing opportunities. The host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Girls trip Oct 2024

I took my daughter’s for a weekend getaway and we had a wonderful time. The bathtub was definitely a highlight for us girls. The loft is small, but was perfect for my teenager to sleep. Time at the creek on the property was great for the kids to play and I got to relax. The hiking trails were great, driving around was beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend the general store and Bistro for meals out.

Peaceful and Serene

Perfect Location

We enjoyed the cabin. Great location. Great new restaurant nearby. Cabin was clean and cozy. We loved everything about it except for the crunchy plastic mattress cover on the bed. Felt like we were sleeping on a baby bed mattress. It was noisy and we woke up sweating from the plastic.

Perfect location for ATV riding

We loved the cabin and the location. Nice and clean and new. Has everything you need. Shower was great. Parking was great for trailers. Host was really nice and easy to deal with. I think we will be staying here again soon. Really nice cabin. Lots of wild life.

Came to the area to attend Tree Climbers Championship. Cabin was convenient to Byrd Adventure Center. Would like to come back to float the River.

Nice quiet getaway

This quaint cabin was a great stay, good restaurants close by. All in all great little get away. Loved the fire pit and jetted tub. Close to river.

total eclipse 04-08-2024

excellent place to stay, got to meet the hosts family as they were camping nearby, very nice folks. hoot owl was perfect for me, my son and his 2 kids. they had fun playing in the river and we all got to watch the total eclipse. the other properties available also look very nice. i will be returning later in the year (winter time) to take some deep sky astrophotographs as the night sky is very dark.
