About this property

Cabernet Cabin (sleeps 10): A true lakefront gem that is perfect for couples, small families or small groups. Meticulously restored cabin located next to and including access to two adjoining vacant lots for additional privacy.150' of lake frontage means you'll have true privacy, the way lakefront living should be! Fun for all seasons with many amenities and activities within minutes - local restaurants, bars, waterpark, ski resorts and golf courses.

Plenty of places to relax, including 3 private docks, a large hammock, two fire pits, or a large covered deck overlooking the lake. Property includes space for outdoor games and access to kayaks, stand up paddle board and large inner tubes for the summer season. Or warm up by the large stone fireplace on cool or winter evenings. Enjoy dinner inside by our wine cork wall, or outside overlooking the lake. Amenities include new memory foam mattresses in both bedrooms, central AC and a new kitchen and bathrooms in 2019.

Cabernet Cottage (sleeps 6): Located directly across the street from Cabernet Cabin and newly renovated in 2021! The perfect Pocono/Lake getaway for small groups, families or couples. Overlooking from the highest point of Lake Harmony, you can enjoy beautiful lake views with just a 5 minute walk to Split Rock Resort, and minutes from local restaurants, entertainment, golf, and two ski mountains! Or enjoy nighttime fires by the fire pit.

Amenities include new memory foam mattresses in both bedrooms located on the first floor, central AC and a new kitchen and bathroom in 2021. The upstairs of the home includes the kitchen, dining and living room area, a gas fireplace and bathroom. Please note that linens and bath towels are not provided, guests can arrange to rent them ahead of time if they do not want to bring their own (delivery or pickup available) from Kerry Clean located in town.

Perfect Spot for every season!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and cottage! Great location with being 5 mins from Big Boulder Ski Resort! Beautiful view with being on the lake. Jason was an excellent host and very efficient with responding.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing

We loved our stay. Jason is a wonderful host who promptly answered every question and tended to an issue right away. The property is full of character and has been restored beautifully while maintaining its charm. The walk to the lake is a steep hike, but totally worth it (and we got some exercise!). We hope to rent it again! The 4 stars for accuracy of listing is only because we thought the living area and kitchen in the cabin would be bigger based on photos. But there was still plenty of room for our family of 10 to gather inside and on the large outside deck. Just a beautiful spot to recharge and enjoy extended family time.

Spacious and beautiful views

The property was beautiful with well kept landscaping, generous amounts of furniture/seating, and 4 docks to the lake. Barley noticed the neighbors as the house is far from others due to the size of the property (compared to some of the other houses on the lake). Kayaked and paddle board were used daily and we enjoyed watching people ski and tube on the lake. Between two docks is a small area to walk into the lake (vs going down ladder off a dock), which made it easily accessible for the kids. It wasn’t sand, more smaller pebbles/rocks so we wore water shoes. There was plenty of room to get away and enjoy some quiet time, and also spaces to gather and spend time with one another. The property is large and elevated, so requires some walking and rock stairs to climb. We ate every meal on the outdoor deck which was covered and seated 8 at the table, and one evening watched the rain on the lake from that deck. We grilled outside and also made dinner in the oven. Nice breeze and cool in the evenings. AC worked great and was quiet, beds were comfortable and kitchen was so easy to cook in; we’ll stocked with all cookware. The property has life vests (even the size for our 2 yr old) so no need to pack next time! We were a party of 8 and had plenty of room, even in the living room - two couches and two benches next to the fireplace, right off the dinning room. Great layout and easy to talk with people sitting at the dinning room table eating ice cream from the ice cream store just a mile down the road. Had an amazing time and we will be back!

Family Fun

Jason had a wonderful property that was perfect for our needs. Everything was very clean and well stocked for our long weekend with the family. The views were stunning. We look forward to renting this unique property in the future.

We purchased our cabin in 2019 and cottage in 2020 to restore it to provide a unique lake front experience for families and small groups.

Most lake front homes on Lake Harmony are right next to each other, lacking privacy. You will have complete privacy on over 1 acre and 150' of lake frontage to yourself.
