Four-story, 5500 sq ft, luxury accommodations with open lakefront decks and patios. This home is perfect for large groups and extended families. TV's are provided in every room as well as extra-large TVs in the game room family room.

There is abundant sleeping space for 20-24 guests, an ultra-modern kitchen, spectacular views, a boat dock, spacious decks, and outside grounds, and a custom designed bar area.

The first-floor is large enough to accommodate all your friends and relatives. Large bar that overlooks the lake through oversized windows and sliding doors that lead out onto a deck. Full-size shuffleboard table, ring toss set and a card table. Two bedrooms each have a queen size bed, full bathroom with tub and shower, plus a bonus room with a sleeper couch.

Located on the main level is a large family room with a gas fireplace, and an oversized LED Smart TV. The kitchen is perfect for large families with granite counter tops and a breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with a side-by-side refrigerator, a ceramic cook top stove & oven, and an over-the-range microwave. Our dining area has a custom-built solid wood table where you can enjoy views of the lake. There are two queen bedrooms on this floor, one with an attached bath. These rooms are perfect for someone that does not want to do a lot of stairs.

The third floor, has a spectacular master bedroom with unbelievable lake views and a very large bathroom that features a large two-person rain shower. There are two more bedrooms each room has 2 sets of bunk beds, twins over full. The full size hall bath has a washer and dryer.

This home is prime location on the lake, the outside area is designed for a relaxing stay. There is plenty of seating on the three decks or you can sit right down on the lake shore to enjoy the sunsets. The large boat dock will allow you to sunbathe or go for a swim. Bring your own Kayaks, paddle boards or canoes to use on the lake.

Bear Den Lodge is the perfect place for your winter or summer vacation on Lake Harmony.

Easter Weekend Getaway

We spent Easter weekend at Bear Den and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. The rustic decor instantly made us feel cozy and welcomed — every detail, from the wooden accents to the warm, earthy tones, was thoughtfully designed and beautifully done. The craftsmanship throughout the home is truly impressive; you can tell a lot of care went into creating such a stunning and comfortable space.One of the highlights was the breathtaking lake view. Waking up each morning to the stillness of the water and the peaceful surroundings made this holiday weekend feel extra special. Whether we were sipping coffee on the deck or enjoying an evening by the fire, the scenery added a magical touch to every moment. Highly recommend the “Bear Den” for anyone seeking charm, comfort, and a beautiful escape into nature.

Great place, great views, nice property management. The table was great. We added one to fit us all because we have a house up here, and 6 of us stayed at our place but we all ate together. Beautiful place for a family gathering.

Family vacation (2nd visit)

Our second family vacation in this house. It’s the best of both worlds, plenty to do and also a great place to relax.We floated, swam, kayaked and fished off our dock during the day and spent our nights relaxing by the fire and playing games in the game room. Took side trips white water rafting, ATV rides and strolling around Jim Thorpe. Highly recommend this house and this area; something for everyone.

Excellent family friendly house

We had a great week here with 14 people ages 2-75. It was clean and well maintained as advertised. We stayed at another house on Lake Harmony the previous seven years and tried this one this year, we already booked for next year! We had a couple questions before and during the stay and the property manager Liz was prompt to reply or answer my calls.

Lake vacation 2024

House was perfect for my extended family! We fished & floated on the lake. Toasted marshmallows on the fire pit while watching the sunset. Liz answered any questions we had promptly & the linen service she recommended was a home run. All pros & no cons when it comes to this vacation home!

Ruined vacation.

We have stayed at lake harmony many times in the past and always brought our boat to go tubing and fishing. Unknown to us until 3 weeks before we were to arrive, the owner said we are not allowed to tie the boat to her dock. She had a very cavalier attitude and said we could park the boat off-site. With very expensive equipment on the boat, this was not an option. And we did not know of this until I received the "welcome" packet, which she said she sent but never received so she had to resend it. Also, I wanted to rent the linen services and sent her emails asking for the contact info; she finally answered my fourth email and that is when we saw the terms. Looking out on the lake, almost every house had a boat tied to their dock. My son spoke with the harbor master who said this was "whacko". Her house, her right. But if this was posted on her website, we would have looked for a different house. So thank you Liz for putting the damper on our time there.

Amazing property

The house is stunning. We were on the lake every day, and enjoyed shuffleboard and the bar every night. Wonderful space and we look forward to possibly staying again.

Our stay in Lake Harmony

My family and I had a wonderful vacation on Lake Harmony. Our house was right on the lake which was perfect for swimming, kayaking and using our stand up paddle boards. The house was clean and there was a bed for everyone. It was stocked with everything that we needed. We will definitely be back!

Friends 60th bday celebration

We loved our time at this beautiful lakeside getaway. We traveled in the fall and the views were spectacular. We cooked each meal in the spacious kitchen and dined either on the back deck or on the fabulous wooden dining room table. We have stayed in this home 3 times in the past 5 years and we absolutely would do so again!!

Family Vacation

Had a great time with family, the house easily accommodated four families with kids. Days spent in the water, swimming, kayaking, fishing and then nights spent gathering around the fire pit. Kitchen layout was great for meals and had everything we needed. Great fun in the game room too. Had some nice side trips including ATV adventure at Pocono raceway and rail/bike in Hawley. Highly recommend this house and Lake Harmony for a wonderful vacation.

Gallagher Family Vacation!

Our children and grandchildren had a wonderful week at the Bear Den. The house was large and comfortable with lots of fun activities for all ages. We loved swimming and paddle boarding during the day and campfires at night. We were a little surprised by the number of motor boats and jet skis. But most of the week was peaceful. Hope to return!

Family Reunion

We had the best and most memorable time! The house is absolutely gorgeous! The den with shuffle board other games kept our crew of young adults busy. The lake front was awesome we all enjoyed the great weather and swam off the pier. Liz was very responsive to our needs during the whole process.

Beautiful House with even better view

The house is beautiful and well maintained with a great layout for a lot of guests. My friends and I enjoyed the lake front fire pit, the kitchen and brought our own inflatable kayaks to enjoy the water. I would definitely come back! The house does require you to bring or rent your own sheets, pillowcases and bath towels but the company we used was affordable and dropped it all off on time based on when I said I would be arriving and we just had to leave them inside the front door for them to pick up.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at this home for 5 days in February over a school break for our kids. We had 10 adults and 9 children. The house was VERY clean and had so much for every single one of us to do. We visited Jack Frost two of our days there to ski / snowboard and the ride to the mountain is less than 10 minutes. Our group played games in the game room, had a fire in the fire pit, and even cooked a Friendsgiving dinner. We were more than comfortable here and really look forward to visiting this property again. The property manager was so responsive and helpful the one time we had to reach out and I can't recommend this house enough.

Fantastic family getaway!

Liz, the property manager, was wonderful to deal with. She was very responsive with all my questions. This house was perfect for a multi family ski getaway. Large kitchen and family room for us all to gather comfortably and the basement is amazing and has all you need for entertainment. Plenty of bedrooms to accommodate large families and ther house was spotless! We had a blast and look forward to doing it again.

The pictures do not do the property justice. It is an amazing property with a fabulous location. Everything was clean upon arrival. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the essentials. The furniture is top notch. And Liz is very responsive.

Awesome Stay!

I would absolutely recommend this place. We went with multiple families including kids and adults. It was very clean (and my family is very picky when it comes to cleanliness), beautiful, great location right on the lake, with plenty to do in the house. The host was easy to reach and always responded quickly. We will definitely rent this place again.
