About this property

Orrasis dry tent site, WANDER

Get away from the city, enjoy tent camping, under the stars, in a safe environment. Shady sites in the trees with a fire ring and picnic table at the sites. Limited campers allowed, and camping sites are about 100ft apart. The lake is only 1.5mi away at Shaffer Bend Recreation Area where there are hiking trails and access for fishing, kayaking, swimming. This is an LCRA park area which charges a day fee. Camping is primitive without electricity. There is a camp bathhouse with hot water, shower and composting toilet. There is no driving in the campsite area, parking is nearby and a cart is available for hauling your stuff.

The space
We have 6.5 acres so there is plenty of space to roam around. Please be respectful of other guests that may be on the property. There is a picnic table, firepit, and trash can at each site. PLEASE dump your trash at the end of your stay. There is a dumpster outside the gate 2 on the roadside.

Guest access
Driving into the camping area is NOT permitted due to safety issues. There is parking in the parking lot at the back of the property, off 343A, entering at gate 3 and carts provided to haul your things to the site.
