October 2023 trip

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was nice and comfortable, the location was great and the owners were very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

Spacious, charming and comfortable

My son and I were in Brasov to attend a wedding. The location of the apartment could not have better!!! It was lovely being so close to everything but being able to retreat to our rooms when needed was fabulous. The owner was quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you for such a lovely stay in Brasov!

A treasure: Comfortable with local feel

Great for two couples with well separated ensuite bedrooms and a large common area. Atmospheric (old Romanian) decor with modern conveniences. As older folks we took our time carrying bags up a courtyard staircase to the second floor apartment. Great location in the middle of Old Town walking streets. Let Anca know if you arrive by driver so he lets you off at nearest walking street drop iff…easy.

Perfect location / more charming than the photos

We had an excellent time in Brasov - our favorite location during our Hungarian and Romanian adventure. It was snowing when our train arrived at 11pm. The hosts provided clear and detailed instruction on transportation from the train depot to the apartment. We did not realize the street the apartment is located on is pedestrian only. They provided the closest intersection to give to our driver and we made our way easily through the snow. The place is so charming and cozy. For being in Brasov during the ski week in which there were many school children and college aged folks, the apartment is extremely quiet and private. We booked tours to Peles/Bran castles through Active Travel (right around the corner) and also received excellent service from them. Don't miss the tiny shop two doors down from Active Travel called The Locals. This is a shop made up of young artisans keeping Romanian hand painted items alive and well. We absolutely loved Transylvania!
