About this property

The building is a duplex with a unit upstairs and a unit downstairs. It is possible you could hear other guests at times.
The Sawmill Suite was formerly a sawmill owned by a local man that cut most of the lumber that is holding it up today. We have now made it into a modern and cozy feeling rental where people can come get away and enjoy the beauty that this area holds.

We have access to world-class fly-fishing just 3 miles down the road at Montanna Creek. With your stay you also have access to local lakes, walking trails, and Denali Brewing Company's tasting room all within a mile or two of the front door.

The house has many amenities that include but are not limited to a high-quality bed, heated floors, waterfall shower with stone floor, full kitchen for cooking, outdoor seating, outdoor fire pit (wood provided), beautiful grass yard, and more. Note: sofa bed is a love seat with a full-size mattress and foam topper.

Great choice!

The Sawmill Suite was super clean and tidy. Communication with the host was easy and the place was conveniently located. We loved the quiet setting in the woods and the modern design of the place.

Jewel in Talkeetna!!

This property is nestled in the woods outside of Talkeetna with all the amenities anyone would need. A brand new modern beautiful suite with very accommodating hosts!!!
