About this property

The Red Fox Cabin - Urban Retreat

This urban cabin has all the feels of a cabin in the woods with the convenience of being in The Borough ! Less than 10 minutes from downtown and minutes away from The Coliseum, Shopping, Golf and great Restaurants.
This cabin housed the offices of my father (Carolina Fibres, Federal Waste Paper and Triad Paper Recycling) and my husband (Roger Fisher, CPA) for years! We hope to continue as a business and offer expert hospitality in our great town of Greensboro!

Red fox cabin exceeded my expectations! Plenty of rooms, great living/family rooms. Roomy kitchen and dining room. Easy to get to from the interstate.Clean and comfortable. The setting seems like a cabin in the woods but close to downtown.

This is a wonderfully magical cabin spot that is more than spacious. A great spot to stay while enjoying the Greensboro area. We went for the golf and were not disappointed, the location is within 25 minutes of a multitude of great courses. The accommodations were fantastic and the home is clean and on a nice wooded lot for privacy.Kudo's to the host. Thank you for a great spot.

Very nice, comfy decor, wonderful beds mattresses, great “get around the area” location. It was so nice to have backup paper towel, TP supplies, didn’t have to take time for a grocery stop.

Great place, close to highways.

Our family (6 of us) had a great time here. Plenty of space. Everyone on 1 floor. The owner was very accommodating to our plans, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nationals Trip

My family was in town for the YMCA short course Nationals meet. We had a lovely stay. The house was in the perfect location for us. Lots of room for family time doing puzzles and watching TV. Great house we hope to be back next year!!

I am 57 and live on the outskirts of Greensboro in Julian. I have two grown sons and a stepdaughter in Wilmington. I love hospitality and hosting! We have two other properties that I manage, one of which I host events. I love cooking, reading and enjoying my family and dogs.

Why they chose this property

This property housed the offices of my Father’s Company , Carolina Fibre Corporation and my husband’s company, Roger Fisher, CPA. We lost these two awesome men about ten years ago. We want to continue to run as a business by providing a unique setting for guests to stay that are visiting in the area.

What makes this property unique

This log cabin is so convenient to just about everything in Greensboro and still has the feel of a quiet retreat. There are a couple of businesses on our street but it still remains quiet and peaceful!
