Great location.

If you are visiting the city this is the best bang for your buck. Got checked in late due to cleaning people being there after the 4pm check in time.

Poor Communication

I might still have chosen this place if it had been advertised correctly. The price is very good. The initial photo is deceptive. The streetcar is over a ten minute walk away 0.6 miles. The neighborhood is nice to one side but the building itself looks like a dump on the outside (paint would help). The price is great and the place is pretty clean. One pot was icky and the bed kept getting dust and dirt from either the very dirty ceiling fan or the air conditioner. It was great to have an air conditioner in each room. They are loud but helped with the sticky heat. My initial experience was awful and would have been solved through better communication. I couldn’t get in and it took nearly an hour before I could connect with the host. The code was wrong. Upon arrival there was no bedding for the futon and no coffee maker. It took time and very uncomfortable communication to correct this. The photos for this listing are not of this unit which feels disingenuous at the very least. This is especially easy to see when looking at the kitchen. The stove is smaller. The kitchen has several problems (light, oven and stove do not function well). The floors slope terribly. The futon is too uncomfortable to sleep on so there is only one bed. Other than that, my son and I liked the unit.

Cannot beat the price for the location

I stayed here for a week while at a training at the Hogan Taylor building. It was a 5 min drive to my training everyday. Close to the best restaurants and nightlife. Comfy bed. My only complaint is that the small window unit does not cool the place down well. I am warm natured and I had to take a cold shower before bed and place the fan right next to the bed to stay comfortable enough to sleep.

Cute area

The space is small and quaint. The bed is good. The apartment we stayed in isn't the same one as in the photos, but it is very similar. The bathroom is a little slanted, like there are foundation problems. I would suggest that management add a few more towels/washcloths. There were 3 towels and 2 washcloths. We stayed 4 days so I had to make a trip to a laundry mat. I did buy a washcloth to add to what they had. The decor is nice and simple. Kitchen was amply stocked. The stove didn't look usable because of the tiles right next to the burner were a little burnt, I didn't want to chance it. There was also a plant growing out of the floor behind the TV, that was a little strange. Overall, for the price and location I don't think we could have found a better place.
