Apartment in a stunning and quiet location

Views from the huge terrace are outstanding. Two minute walk out of the garden down to a small stony cove for swimming. Excellent hiking along the coast path. Françoise was a welcoming and helpful host - clear instructions and available by phone. You need a car to get to shops and restaurants although there is a little store in La Redonne, 25 minutes walk along the coast path. The only thing I would suggest is to make the cleaning charge part of the rental cost (this is not a complaint as the apartment was perfectly clean for us).

Die Terasse ist wie beschrieben ein Traum.Die Aussicht aufs Meer reicht eigentlich schon.Der Weg zum Meer ist es auch. Wir waren jeden Tag baden(nicht ohne Badeschuhe!)es ist nicht ganz einfach, aber auch für uns Ü60 machbar.Die Wohnung ist einfach aber schön.Nur das 3 Bettzimmer ist eigentlich keins, mit mehr als 4 Personen wirds schwierig.

Herrliche Aussicht

Wir wählten die Ferienwohnung wegen der herrlichen Aussicht und der nähe zum Meer... und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Ende September war das Meer noch warm genug zum Baden und mit Schnorcheln konnte man auch Fische beobachten. Die Anfahrt zur Ferienwohnung ist etwas abenteuerlich (enge und steile Strassenverhältnisse, aber gut machbar). Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Fantastische Aussicht

Die großzügige Terasse ist einfach nur toll, die Aussicht aufs Meer fantastisch. Der Weg bzw. die Straße zum Haus ist ein Abenteuter, aber die kleine Bucht und das Meer sind es wert.

What a view!!!

The view was fantastic, we spent nearly the whole time on the great terrace enjoying the view over the sea and the calanque. Location is quite remote, you need to go by car to get any supplies. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay very much.

On a cliff above the Mediterranean

This property fully equipped property (except for linens) has a stunning aspect overlooking the Mediterranean. The main bedroom and living room had doors opening onto a large terrace with sounds and views of the sea. It was a short descent down a rocky path to a lovely cove, connecting to a trail along the cliffs and coves stretching for miles. The unique blue of the Mediterranean will certainly call us back.

Une semaine en famille avec deux grands ados. L’appartement est parfait. Simple et fonctionnel avec une literie très confortable. Mais surtout un cadre enchanteur où l’on n’entend que le chant des cigales et la mer. Une terrasse immense avec une vue extraordinaire sur les pins et la mer. Un accès direct à une petite crique où nous étions souvent seuls. N’hésitez pas à vous munir d’un masque et d’un tuba pour profiter de cette eau cristalline où vous verrez toutes sortes de poissons, oursins, étoiles de mer, etc. Pour fini, un grand merci à Mme Gillet pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité.

le site est magique, paisible, la preuve en est un petit écureuil est venu nous dire bonjour (en terrasse) les cigales sont bien là pour mettre l'ambiance estivale. l'eau limpide permettant de découvrir la faune sous marine. pas besoin d'aller voir ailleurs!! il faut profiter de chaque jour sur place pour ne rien manquer!!!!!!!

We were disappointed

The appartment is very nice located at the Ocean front with a nice view . Bur inside it was really disappointing. Threre was an old furniture smelling strong and the sheets on the beds were so dirty, we had to wash all first before going to sleep. The same with the pillows and blankets. The pots had no covers and the dishes even were dirty and incomplete and we really had no fun to cook there. I think it is too expensive for that equipment.

Superbe pour des vacances hors saison

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable en famille élargie en octobre avec randonnée et balades sur la côte. Nous sommes venus sans voiture: cela demande un peu d'organisation, mais avec le train, des conducteurs de bus hors pairs et l'envie de marcher, cela était tout à fait faisable. Maison superbement située, mais pas isolée. Merci pour tout.

Magnifique et calm!

We enjoyed very much our stay in this excellent location. The pictures can't really show how great the view is. Also we enjoyed the silence and just hearing the see and the wind… We are a family with 3 boys (5,9,11) and the location was excellent for them as well. Swimming, climbing, playing Boule…. Kitchen included everything required; Beds were comfortable; Nevertheless, the location is also an excellent starting point for visiting Marseille, Les calques, make a walk directly from the location or visit the other attractions (Arles, Aix, countryside Luberon….) We simply passed some georgous vacations!

Un petit coin de paradis...

Un de ces endroit magique où le temps s'arrête et où la beauté de la nature nous laisse sans voix pour peu que l'on soit sensible à ce genre de paysage. Quelques rencontres mémorables avec la faune marine. Pieuvres, seiches, bancs de poisson en tous genres et clous du spectacle un groupe de dauphins passant non loin, au large en début de soirée... La disponibilité de madame Gillet a été sans faille et ce même par téléphone pour convaincre un vigil de nous laisser passer. L'appartement (pour 7 personnes) est très beau, spacieux. La terrasse n'en parlons pas, j'y passerai mes journées à lire. Tout le confort nécessaire. La literie excellente. Je recommande vivement cette location et serait enclin à y retourner.

Site extraordinaire des calanques de la cote bleue

Originaire de la région et vivant à l’étranger Cette villégiature est notre base de retour en méditerranée nous y venons tous les étés pour 15 jours depuis 9 ans avec nos enfants, c'est un endroit privilégié pour les amoureux des calanques . Site idéal en bord de mer tout en étant à 30 km de Marseille, d'Aix en Provence. De plus la gentillesse et le contact chaleureux des propriétaires ( mail et téléphone) vous mettent en confiance et simplifient toute communication. Adresse incontournable pour les amoureux de la méditerranée à l'abris de l'afflux touristique.

A recomander sans hésitation

Venant de Suisse, nous (5 adultes) avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette propriété très bien entretenue, offrant une vue extraordinaire sur la Mer Méditerranée, (superbe coucher de soleil....). D'emblée nous avons été enchanté par l'endroit. La grande terrasse est tout simplement géniale. A l'intérieur, le nécessaire est à disposition et en excellent état. L'accès direct à la plage dans une calanque est aussi un atout. Aucune nuisance à signaler. Les commerces situés au village d'Ensuès sont accessibles par voiture (10 minutes) est suffisent amplement. Marseille n'est qu'à 30 minutes de voiture. Les sympatiques contacts par e-mail avec la propriétaire avant d'ariver sur place nous ont très vite mis en confiance. Nous ne pouvons que recommmander vivement cette location. Une voiture est toutefois nécessaire pour y accéder. En espérant que nous aurons l'occasion d'y revenir une autre fois !
