Our original resort canceled our booking so I found White Sands Resort and booked a one bedroom. So glad we found this place! The staff is so responsive and helpful, and the outdoor cafe/ pool is a great place to mingle with residents and other guests . We’d definitely stay here again.
Such a wonderful experience and so peaceful and cozy getaway. They were so responsive and helpful. Only 25 units on the property so feels like home. We were a family of 4 and even the sofa bed was comfortable. They helped us get a golf cart sswhen everything was sold out and help us find a car in belize city. outeverythinelse

Overall my family had a fine stay, the hosts were very accommodating and responsive and helped us to rent a golf cart and organize a boat excursion which was great. The room itself was clean, although a bit run down and could use some upgrades. The bed was not particularly comfortable. Some units have beautiful views of the ocean which probably would have made the overall experience better, but we weren’t in a unit that had any views at all, so that was disappointing. The pictures show a beach/sandy area to hang out but it’s actually more like concrete rock, and although the whole island suffers from sorgasm, the water outside the resort was completely littered with trash which was quite disgusting, so if you want to enjoy the ocean at all, this is not the place. The pool was nice and had relaxed unassuming vibes, but the water is deep and unheated so it was cold to the point of unenjoyable. Overall, while the staff was helpful, we would not stay again, nor recommend to others. We actually purchased day passes at another resort to enjoy a pool/beach day because it was not possible here.
We loved our stay at the White Sands Cove. The apartment was clean, large enough so we didn't feel cramped and close to the pool. ALL of the staff were pleasant and wanting to help in any way that they could.
The La Cala bar and restaurant at the property also had exceptional staff and the restaurant had excellent food at a fair price. They would even fix your catch for you when you came in with fish from your fishing experience at the pier.
Relatively close to town.
Working through the VRBO staff was so easy, they were quick to our questions as they came up and eager to help.
The only regret we had - that we didn't stay longer! We'll remedy that next year.
We loved this facility.
I’m glad I decided to stay here. There were cheaper options closer to the city but I’m glad we didn’t stay in town. The ocean view wasn’t as picturesque as the photos but still good. Very friendly staff and neighbors. Amenities were good within the room. The pool was nice because we couldn’t actually swim off the pier. You can swim but there is boat traffic and stinking brown sorgasm. I was hoping to be able to walk off the pier and snorkel but I definitely did not. Overall I am glad we chose this place over others.
