Poorly stocked kitchen

3 forks, no baking sheet, no extra trash bags, and no dishwasher tabs. If you’re thinking you’re in a mountain cabin away from everyone, think again. Row houses extremely close to one another. However, we all had a place to sleep, and plenty of towels.

Good not Great

It is a nice cabin in a good location with spectacular views, but given the high rental fees, I expected better. The biggest issue was that about 5 hours before we were due to check in, the manager called to tell us the pool liner was being replaced and the pool would be unusable the first 24 hours of our stay. Given that we chose this cabin BECAUSE of the indoor pool, this was extremely disappointing. We were offered another place to stay for two nights and then returning to this rental for the third night. Since we were a party of nine, this was inconvenient and not doable. The company (Cabins to Go) offered an apology but no money off our stay or anything. When we arrived, the place was pretty clean, but the floors were gross and made the bottom of our feet black. The beds in the upstairs bedrooms are so loud and creaky that you cannot turn over without waking everyone else in the cabin up. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and really loved the beautiful views and convenient location to the attractions in Pigeon Forge. Knowing what I know now, I would not have paid over $4k for a three night stay in this place, thoug.

Pool was empty

Booked for the pool and hot tub for my family with smaller kids. Check in was smooth but when checking pool out in the lower level it was empty. I immediately called the cabin rental company and they told me I could change to another house with a pool for half my stay and then move to a house without a pool for the last half. That would have been a nightmare with 14 people. They offered me a small partial refund to accommodate the inconvenience. Would have been better with the pool being operational.
