Cute townhouse, good location, but …….
This is a cute townhouse in a good location. The owners seemed very nice and were quick to respond when contacted. There are nice touches, such as treats and games for those interested. I would love to give this my usual five star rating, but in all fairness to my fellow renters I feel I must be truthful. This place is in obvious need of a thorough deep cleaning, and some tender, loving care. Among other things the floors were gritty, the oven greasy, the shower curtains were moldy, and there was a thick layer of dust in many areas. We cleaned it to the best of our ability when we arrived and left it in better condition. In defense of the owner, she states she has not seen it in several months and will now hire a professional cleaning company to rectify the situation. I sincerely hope she does as it has a lot of potential. Replacing the beds would also be good since two people sharing a bed will roll together in the middle. A few dollars and some maintenance would bring this up to the standards we expect when renting from VRBO. I wish the owners the best.
