While visiting Yellowstone we decided to stay just outside the north entrance after day one. The room was very nice and conveniently located. Maybe it was just me but the bed seemed especially comfortable after that day.
We are Montana residents and used the Memorial Day holiday weekend to bring my 12 year old granddaughter for her first ever visit. We were well rewarded with multiple grizzly and black bear sightings as well as many elk and bison.
You are perfectly situated in Gardiner! You have everything within a few blocks and the North Entrance to Yellowstone is a few minutes away. The back side of the building has a view of the Gardiner River too. We were very happy with this clean, well accommodated apt.
The unit was very clean, and had just about everything you could want. There were several power strips so I could plug in anything. The WiFi signal was great - fast response. I brought along a toaster, but was able to fix my meals with the microwave otherwise, and because it was accurately represented, I knew to bring one. And close to many restaurants had I wanted to eat out.
The host was quite prompt at answering my questions as I prepared for my trip.
Appreciatad nearly the entire experience, but would have been more comfortable if there was a place for luggage in the bedroom (the only piece of furniture - the dresser - is mysteriously dominated by a large oversized TV). We had to put our luggage on living room furniture - a little awkward.
Also, some shelf space in the VERY small shower for toiletries would be welcome - we had to put our soap, etc on the floor, which was weird.
The minimalist kitchen fortunately has a mini fridge and coffee maker/mugs and some bowls, but could use some plates (only a single small camping-style plate available). W/D was much appreciated.
Location near downtown restaurants (even the furthest and best - Wonderland - is only a 10 min walk). Grocery store is within a block, and coffee stand with breakfast sandwiches, literally steps away, was awesome.
We will definitely try to stay here in the future and try for an upstairs unit (thin floorboards overhead in this downstairs unit, #3).
Great location, cozy clean home, would definitely stay here again!
We come to yellowstone once a year and Mayas property was in a fantastic location, very clean and comfortable and the check in process was so easy. We would definitely stay here again.
Upon first arrival, we realized that the rental is much nicer than it looks in the pictures! While there is no way of cooking, the rental is extremely spacious, packed with a nice washer/dryer and coffee, and has two roomy bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for our weekend getaway !!
A great place to stay close to Yellowstone. Very spacious, comfortable beds, all the basic necessities were there and it was quiet. We tried the Corral burgers as recommended and they were huge, juicy and tasty. Went to Tumbleweed just down the road for breakfast and it was great too. My only negative comment would be that there were only plastic forks, no spoons or knives or paper plates so we had to buy those things for our other day where we didn't eat out. Definitely would stay here again though!
This property was comfortable to stay at. When we felt unexpectedly sick during our trip, we were happy that the large bedroom came with a Netflix TV and that there was tasty local food nearby. A good choice for travelers exploring Yellowstone!
The room was just perfect size as an overnight stop while driving through the adjacent Yellowstone Park. The two teenagers and us also loved the general store next door to get lunches etc.
