This is our happy place! Nestled at the edge of the Lincoln National Forrest, you will be surrounded by nature, beauty and wildlife! At the Lazy Elk Lodge, you will experience mountain charm and stunning views with the forest in your own backyard! Being over 40 years old, we love our cabin's location and rustic charm! The deck space is incredible and there's room enough to accommodate large groups!

Located just off Mechem Drive about 2.5 miles north of downtown, you'll find this great five bedroom, four bathroom home with a hot tub and game room - a true home away from home. The hot tub is perched on its own deck facing the Lincoln National Forest. Enjoy a relaxing soak day or night. Tons of deck space on three sides of the home feature lots of seating and 2 gas grills. The game room comes equipped with a pool table and shuffle board table, and plenty of room for seating. The lodge's main level has lots of windows and is bright and airy.

The open floor plan joins the kitchen, dining and main living areas for easy socializing. Main level has a bright kitchen with most amenities, two dining tables provide seating for 14. The majestic fireplace, equipped with a brand new gas insert, faces the spacious living area which is equipped with a smart 55 inch TV, while seating is provided by a large sofa and comfy arm chairs. The main level also features a a bathroom and two bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the smaller has a queen size bed.

The entry level off the carport has two roomy guest rooms, each with its own bathroom. One features 2 queen beds and a futon, and the second has a king, a full bed and a futon. The 5th bedroom Sleeping Loft is large and cozy with 2 queen beds, a full size bed and two of it's own balconies. The Loft area features an oversized full bathroom.

We have a property manager who is always available to assist with any questions or needs upon arrival. No pets or smoking please, and no fires of any kind are allowed. Guests must abide by all local fire laws, parking and noise ordinances. No events allowed. The cabin is equipped with a professional security system including 2 cameras overlooking the driveway to ensure the security of the property.
