We were very happy with our stay at The Nest at the Baskatong. Everything felt clean and well cared for. It was ideal for family time as well as space for quiet. Host was lovely and made us feel very welcome to the space.
We had a great stay here, easy to get into and lots of amenities close by. Fishing was the main reason we chose this spot, and we were not disappointed! Easy to put the boat in and take it out. The host was super easy to communicate with, and was available at a moment's notice. I'd definitely come back again, very comfortable and quiet.
The rental of this property was for the purpose of getting together with a friend for some outdoor winter activities. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate so it was more of an indoor visit.
The beds were comfortable. Enjoyed sitting by the wood stove and watching tv while playing games. The kitchen was very well stocked. Our host, Grace, was very helpful and available to help out if required.
Grace and Andrew were outstanding hosts who exceeded our expectations in many ways.
For starters, their home was one of the best outfitted rentals we have ever encountered. From the amazing variety of spices and well stocked basic pantry to treats upon our arrival, including a bottle of wine, we felt immediately at home.
The semi private beach and the amazing sunsets added to the enjoyment of our stay.
An outside kitchen and shower were extra features that enabled us to enjoy the outdoors even more.
Grace, Andrew and their family made us feel at home and were always available, yet discreet, if we needed anything.
The home is a perfect place for anyone who loves the outdoors and is in need of a good rest in nature.
We highly recommend Grace and Andrew's home.
