Excellent place for a relaxing holiday

We had an excellent week with two families sharing the barn. There is plenty of room for 10 people, with a great pool, table tennis and good size garden. Mimizan is 5 minutes in the car with everything you might need. The beach is about 10 minutes drive with sand for miles in both directions. The area is very flat and forested and would be great for biking. Definitely recommended.

vacances en famille de 8 septuagénaires, maison très bien équipée, agréable, avec une chouette piscine, et un grand terrain, ou facile de garer nos deux voitures.on a beaucoup apprécié la grande salle à manger face à la piscine.Thierry est à l’écoute,nous a fait une belle présentation à l'arrivée,et en cerise sur le gâteau est très sympathique.bref notre séjour était parfait.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in diesem schönen Haus. Besonders der Pool hat uns gefallen und die Veranda sowie die Raumaufteilung.Die Lage ist etwas abseits, dafür sehr ruhig. Man kann schöne Strände mit dem Auto erreichen, es gab immer gute Parkplätze (kostenlos).Wir waren 10 Personen und haben viel im Haus gekocht und gegessen. Es gab viele Teller aber Bestecke (zu wenig) und ein paar Kleinigkeiten haben uns gefehlt. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, man hörte nachts jeden Schritt.Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen.

Dans l'ensemble, tout s'est très bien passé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme des lieux, qui nous a permis une déconnexion totale et un ressourcement bienvenus. La piscine et la plancha ont été des atouts incontournables de notre séjour, et nous avons passé d'agréables moments en famille. Nous avons également beaucoup aimé explorer la région, avec de belles balades dans les Landes et les marchés de Mimizan plage. La maison, typique de la région, offrait un cadre authentique et charmant, idéal pour ceux qui recherchent une véritable immersion dans la culture locale. Nous aimerions toutefois apporter un petit commentaire constructif : l'ajout d'un volet électrique pour la piscine serait un plus pour la sécurité et la protection de l'eau. De même, des moustiquaires pour les fenêtres des chambres seraient bienvenus, surtout pendant les nuits d'été. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour et recommanderons volontiers votre maison à d'autres. Merci encore pour votre accueil et l'attention portée à nos besoins. Wunderbarer Urlaub im September

Es war ein wunderschöner, unvergesslicher Urlaub in ‚La Grange‘. Das Haus ist mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der eingezäunte Garten bot viel Platz zum Toben für die Hunde. Der Pool war fantastisch, wird er doch mit Salz anstatt Chlor gereinigt. Perfekt für die chlorempfindliche Haut. Den Salzgehalt hat man wenig gemerkt. Auch Thierry hat sich prima gekümmert. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette grange au charme délicieusement vintage. Nous avons été agréablement accueillis et avons apprécié le calme de la location. La situation est idéale pour découvrir bordeaux, cap ferret, dune du Pyla, Biarritz, saint jean de Luz... Et Mimizan est une jolie petite station balnéaire.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette belle propriété, joliement rénovée et d'époque, bien équipée avec sa grande piscine et le coin barbecue et plusieurs emplacements pour manger et se poser tout au long de la journée. Be very careful in booking this property

Be very careful about the terms of booking this property. It has a lot of potential to be very nice in a great location BUT there is a substantial charge for cleaning. There is no cleaner. It's an add-on and it wasn't very clean when we got there. Neither were the pool-side cushions and the parasols would not remain standing even in the lightest breeze. There is nowhere to store groceries, the hob is very basic and there weren't even any spare bags for the waste bin. On top of that, the owner will insist on having a very large deposit IN CASH and you could replace almost everything in the property for less than the deposit. We had to quickly arrange a bank transfer into their personal account and pray and then found it cost us a substantial amount of money in bank and currency fees all of which were placed with us. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. We wish that we had been.

Maison spacieuse, belle et très agréable dans un environnement très calme.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la maison. Nous recommandons vivement cette location. C'est une ancienne grange qui a été rénovée avec goût en maison familiale, très spacieuse, très agréable à vivre et très bien équipée. Il y a 5 grandes chambres, 3 salles de bain et de grands espaces communs, une belle piscine, un grand jardin, un espace plancha... La maison est très propre et dans un état impeccable. Nous avons été particulièrement bien accueilli par les propriétaires à notre arrivée et à notre départ. Thierry et sa famille ont pris le temps de nous présenter leur maison et nous renseigner sur les environs. La maison est au calme absolu, bien isolée du voisinage. La très belle plage de Lespecier à dix minutes en voiture, Mimizan plage également à dix minutes, et des commerces à 5 minutes.

Calme nature et detente

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un écrin de verdure. Le grand jardin avec piscine Ping Pong et vu sur la nature nous a permis une immersion rapide dans les vacances. Très bon agencement des pièces qui permet de vivre en profitant du dehors et où il est facile de surveiller des enfants. Le propriétaire a su nous donner des indications utiles pour notre séjour et nous a accueilli de façon agréable et conviviale. La maison est pratique et conviviale avec sa plancha et sa terrasse sous porche. Producteur locale bio à proximité. Je recommande cette location.

Extrem entspannter Urlaub in unglaublich ruhiger Umgebung

Die Bilder des Anwesens in der Nähe von Mimizan (ca. 3km mit dem Wagen) hatten uns schon direkt angesprochen, da es sich um ein authentisch restauriertes Haus handeln sollte. Nach der Ankunft wurden unsere Erwartungen sogar deutlich übertroffen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz. Jedes Zimmer ist individuell mit vielen Details versehen. Die Küche ist, auch für mich als Hobbykoch, umfassend ausgestattet um alle möglichen Gerichte zu zaubern. Insgesamt gibt es 3 Bäder und Toiletten, die jeweils mit einer Dusche ausgestattet sind. TV mit franz. Fernsehen und ein Kamin bieten um Wohnzimmer Gelegenheit zum Verweilen, falls das Wetter einmal nicht perfekt sein sollte. Über einen überdachten Essbereich, der auch bei grosser Hitze schön kühl bleibt, kommt man zum Pooldeck. Der Pool ist mit Salzwasser gefüllt und daher gab es bei unseren Kids keine Probleme mit Chlor-Augen. Der Pool ist gross genug um auch einige Züge schwimmen zu können und an jeder Stelle 1,50m tief. Der Garten ist riesig und bietet reichlich Platz zum Fussballspielen, Boule (Equipment ist am Haus vorhanden) oder anderen Rasenaktivitäten. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Umgebung. Das Haus liegt deutlich entfernt von der Nebenstrasse zwischen Mimizan und Bias und daher konnten wir fast absolute Ruhe geniessen. Die Nächte waren dunkel, da kaum Lichtsmog vorhanden ist und, für uns als Großstädter, gab es einen atemberaubenden Blick in die Sterne. Thierry und seine Familie (Vermieter) waren extrem hilfsbereit und haben viele gute Tipps zu Ausflügen in der Gegend gegeben. Mit dem Wagen erreicht man mehrere Strände (Bias, Mimizan, Contis, etc.) in ca. 10-20min. Die Strände waren sehr sauber und der Atlantik zeigt mit hohen Wellen warum viele Wellenreiter am Strand auf die perfekten Wellen warten. Wir können das Haus, die Umgebung und die Vermieterfamilie wärmstens empfehlen und kommen sicherlich wieder.

We had a fantastic holiday at this stunning house. The property is in immaculate condition and has everything you need for a most enjoyable stay. Zalige vakantie

Wij hebben ter plaatse een hartelijke ontvangst van de eigenaars gekregen en een rondleiding. Het verblijf was zalig in een zeer rustige omgeving . De kids hebben zich kostelijk geamuseerd in en rond het zeer goed onderhouden groot zwembad. De omgeving is fantastisch om te gaan fietsen of wandelen. Een bezoek aan de plaatselijke markt in Mimizan is ook de moeite waard en Mimizam plage is eveneens een leuke plaats om te winkelen en iets te gaan drinken. De BBQ en de gietijzeren bakplaat aan de woning is een waar genoegen om op te bakken en zeker als je met ç personen bent. Kortom een fantastische fermette en omgeving om een leuke vakatie door te brengen.. Jan en Mieke
