All seasons are a great time to visit, from Winterfest (December - February), spring, summer and fall! There is always something happening in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors, shop till you drop, catch a few shows or enjoy the many restaurants (or all of the above), come to the Smoky Mountains and relax.

Our cabin, Smokies Sunrise, is a 2-bedroom, 2 full bath Log Cabin that sleeps 4 (can accommodate 4 adults comfortably) located approximately 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and 10 miles from downtown Sevierville on Bluff Mountain. This beautiful Log Cabin has cathedral ceilings and a wrap-around porch that offers magnificent views of the mountains and the valley of Pigeon Forge. Relax in the hot tub on the secluded "back" deck under the cafe lights. You can see the sparkling lights in the valley below as well as the fireworks from Dollywood on Saturday nights (seasonal).

Smokies Sunrise has a full-size, completely equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and up-to-date appliances. It also offers a new washing machine and dryer as well as an outdoor grill. Along with a full bath on the first floor, the bedroom has a new queen log bed and log furniture. The primary bedroom/loft offers a queen log bed, bathroom with shower, and LED HD TV with hundreds of channels. The loft has phenomenal views of the mountains, city lights at night and sunrise.

The Great Room has a two and a half story wall of windows providing a breathtaking view, a wood burning fireplace (firewood not supplied), and a leather sofa and chair. The 65" LED SMART TV and sound bar over the fireplace receives over 200 satellite channels are great for watching movies/sports and for listening to your favorite music from your own device via Bluetooth. You can bring your laptop or other devices because this cabin features Free cable Wi-Fi access.

On Smokies Sunrise's wrap-around porch you'll enjoy a swing, rocking chairs and an umbrella table with chairs all with spectacular views of the mountains. By the charcoal grill you can sit in the Adirondack chairs, sip your favorite beverage and gaze at the ridgeline of the Smoky Mountains. The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was close enough to all attractions, but far enough way in the mountains for peace and quiet. Cabin was immaculate and well stocked. The views from the wrap around deck were unsurpassed! Would highly recommend!

Great cabin with amazing views!

We loved our stay here! The views are amazing and the cabin is well equipped. As stated, the last part up the mountain is STEEP! We were fine with a sedan but in the rain we did slip a bit, but so worth it to be up on top of the mountain.

Great place to stay

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view! Large hot tub. The road to get to the cabin isn’t bad until the last little bit and it goes straight up but wasn’t bad during the summer. We would defiantly stay here again

Beautiful cabi

We absolutely loved our stay! The hot tub was pefect after our days of hiking. Easy drive to everywhere we wanted to go. Good communication with property owners one day when the power was briefly out due to storms. Even got to see a bear on the deck one morning (watching from inside)! Would definitely come back.

Beautiful cabin

My boyfriend and I stayed here January 11th-14th and we had the best time. From the time we walked in, we were greeted with a clean cabin that smelled like pine. The view from the upstairs loft is breathtaking and something you have to experience once in your lifetime. We are definitely going to keep this place as a return vacation in our future.

Wow, the views of the mountains here were unreal! We loved sitting out on the deck with coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise and the birds. Such a peaceful area. The cabin was super clean and comfy, and the host made everything easy for us. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave. Definitely recommend if you want a spot with amazing scenery…. and of course a chance to see a mama bear with her cubs! We also saw a very large bear that climbed to the top of a tree- I wish I didn’t fumble so much trying to catch that moment, but we were so excited! By the time I set myself up to take a photo, the bear was down on the ground. There are mentions of the road in the reviews- yes the last almost 1/2 mile up Bluff Mountain is a bit steep and there are no guardrails, but taking it slow and steady will get you safely up the hill. Just be extra cautious that’s all. If I can drive that, anyone can. The appliances worked and there are enough dishes and utensils to feed an army. There were everyday spices that were available and some hand soaps and dishwashing liquid. The linens and towels were very clean and fresh. Just to sum it all up, we had a very special time- we created a lot of wonderful memories! To our gracious hosts- Thank you for lending your house to us for the week!

Amazing Cabin

This was one of many trips to the Gatlinburg Area. This cabin was perfect. The views were amazing, especially at sunrise. It was decorated for Spring, which was a pleasant surprise. You can tell the owners love there little piece of paradise. Make you reservations now, sit back and enjoy your surroundings, the birds and even some chipmunks. :)

Great Cabin

We just left this cabin a couple days ago and it was great!! It was very nice, very clean and we really loved just hanging out there. The outside area is very nice and the views are incredible. I loved that there was a hot tub and looked like plenty of board games and stuff to do inside. My husband and I were surprised to see exactly how steep the road was to get to the cabin, we could not tell on google maps or anything exactly how steep it was (we knew it would be some as it’s up in the mountains). Thankfully we drove my Jeep so it wasn’t an issue it did just worry me a little going up it the first time lol. About 1/10th of a mile on your way to the cabin is the only part you really have to worry about (one lane, steep, blind curve at the bottom) but again the cabin inside and outside was really great and the views were absolutely breathtaking - you can see all of Pigeon Forge from up there it seems like!! As long as you have a vehicle that can safely get you up and down you are good to go. Definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing stay!

The Hammond's were awesome to work with. The cabin was very clean and super cute. Awesome views during the day and night. Hot tub was clean and worked well! The side deck where the hot tub is was so pretty at night with the newly hung lights. Plenty of room for us and our 2 teens. I cooked a few times while there and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again! Mama bear and cubs came to visit on the porch one morning, sounds like this is a normal thing right now so just make sure to keep things/trash put up! We were only there for 2 nights, wish we could've stayed longer!

Breathtaking View

Although the road up was a challenge, even in a Ram truck, the view from the cabin was worth the hazardous drive. Very steep and narrow road once you’re past the iron gates. No guard rails on the horseshoe curves. The cabin was very clean & upkeep was great. We encores the hot tub, the grill and especially the sunrise. Highly recommend the stay. bring a 4 wheel drive though

The overall trip was amazing. The cabin is very clean and spacious. The hot tub heats up very quickly. The owners are very easy to access. We did take my fiancé‘s Nissan Altima up to the cabin. The one lane road can be difficult to get up if it’s raining, it is doable but very scary. We highly advise taking a four-wheel-drive vehicle.

Our family lives in metro Atlanta. We've always loved the mountains and the peace, quiet and relaxation that they offer. We also enjoy the many outdoor activities, specifically the amazing hiking opportunities in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Why they chose this property

We visited the Smoky Mountains back in 2006 with friends who owned a couple of cabins (including the one that is now ours!), and immediately felt at home. Specifically, Bluff Mountain provides that peaceful, secluded feeling we were looking for in a home-away-from-home along with the absolute BEST views of the Smoky Mountains you'll find in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Sevierville area. That's why we named the cabin 'Smokies Sunrise.' Take a look at some of our pictures and you'll see why. We also really enjoy the wildlife in the immediate area and throughout the national park.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is located on a street that sees very little traffic, and you can be down the mountain in the middle of all there is to do in the area in 10 minutes.
