Wonderful Location & Property

Everything about this property was perfect. Karen was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, the apartment included so many little extras to make us feel comfortable and at home, and the central location allowed us to explore and access all the local stores and restaurants. I recommend it to anyone.

Had a wonderful time in this beautiful loft! It has anything and everything you could think of and very clean for sure. The street noise at night was a bit of a challenge, but they even provided ear plugs!

Ten star Mountain Music Loft!

If you’re looking for a fabulous stay in Bristol, look no further than the Mountain Music loft. Your hosts Karen and Monica have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay unique, memorable and comfortable. This loft is full of surprises. Hands down this is my favorite Vrbo stay with the best hosts. Our hosts communicated with us every step of the way. The loft was immaculate! Kudos to the housekeeping staff.

I make frequent trips to Bristol. This visit was significantly highlighted by staying in this downtown loft. The loft is well located, very well furnished but had a bit(or more) of "Bristol" ambience to top it all off. Great hosts. Would love to stay again if the opportunity arises.

The best place to stay

Absolutely the best place to stay. Very Clean, comfortable beds and couches, and stocked with everything you will need for your stay. Karen stayed in close contact with me and answered any questions I had with quick response. It's the best place I've ever stayed and will be the first place I look for my next trip back.

This is a great place! Very comfortable, cozy, well decorated. The only down side is road noise and homeless people making noise at night (never felt unsafe) but that goes along with being downtown. Very well stocked, quick with communication, and overall highly recommend. Will definitely stay again!

Stunning loft!

This property was absolutely beautiful. It is a two-story loft in a 100 year old historic building, it has been lovingly restored and impeccably furnished! It was so much fun to explore the downtown area and surroundings; however, we couldn’t wait each night to get back to our loft to relax and catch up on our girls weekend! Highly recommend, excellent hosts as well. The place was fully outfitted to make for a wonderful stay!

Amazing property within walking distance to downtown

Hosts are very gracious, and provide ample supplies that you need in case you forget something. Loft is very clean and very spacious beautiful decor plenty of space to relax and hang out. Full-size kitchen for a cooking indoors or a walking distance to several very nice restaurants and bakeries Coffee shop right outside the loft highly recommend this as a place to stay we will definitely be back

What A Fun Place!

This location is perfect to enjoy all that Bristol has to offer! We met friends in Bristol for a fun weekend getaway and this loft if wonderful -- convenient, comfortable and just perfect! Easy to walk to great food and drinks -- we enjoyed BBQ at Southern Craft BBQ one night -- food and drinks the next night at the rooftop bar at the Bristol Hotel and then breakfast before heading home at Bloom. We spent Saturday in Damascus enjoying the Creeper Trail and exploring the quaint town -- post ride drinks at the Appalachian Heritage Distillery -- then before heading home enjoyed a nice hike on the Moneta Trail. Thanks for sharing such a great place!

A different experience for sure

Nice loft with music as it's theme. Open ceilings for rooms felt like being on stage for performance. Town is definitely working to be better. New stores cool murals. Easy to communicate with owners.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

The on-line photos didn't do justice to the loft! It was gorgeous, comfortable and a great vibe. When we arrived, the mood was already set with a wonderful radio station and relaxing lighting. Check-in was super simple, in fact, Karen actually greeted us as we arrived. I messaged her a few times just for recommendations and always received a prompt response. The location was perfect, great restaurants, bakery, shops and a distillery that was just a short walk away. The only downside to the location was that it was right across the street from a pool hall that got a little rowdy at night. We never felt unsafe, just a little noisy :) We definitely hope to visit again!

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We would give 10 stars if it would be possible. We have stayed in 50+ vacation rental units, and none compare to the attention to detail that Karen has displayed in her ideally located loft on State Street in Bristol. Everything was simply perfect from the condition of the unit, the cleanliness, and the amenities. The care taken with this 100+ year old building is remarkable. Karen was so attentive and communicative. Come and enjoy. A private parking space is provided and easy check-in as well.

Outstanding

We were forced to find a new place to stay for the race weekends when our old place did. It reopen after Covid. We found this property and we are so happy we did and we have been coming back every year. She has several lofts and each one is beautiful. Modern amenities and all the comforts of home while still maintaining the character of the building. Karen always had the lofts spotless and fully stocked with anything you could need for a night, week or more. Right in downtown Bristol with lots to do within walking distance. Looking forward to returning next year ‘

Weekend getaway

This property was absolutely amazing. We didn't realize we even wanted to visit Bristol but saw the property listing and immediately started planning our trip. The location is perfect right on State St near everything. The property is so well done in every aspect. The old brick and wood ceiling planks are amazing but all the other decor just works so well, even the banjo that I picked a little after going to the Museum. The little amenities this host provides just make the place that much better. Literally anything we could have needed was already provided in the rooms, the bathrooms, the kitchen. Check in was seamless and the host was gracious in every conversation. The fudge downstairs is delightful too : ) Overall it was a great place to be and the property truly added to our full Bristol experience. Highly recommend.

Mom Get Away

Honestly the loft is more than what the pictures can do it justice. It looks amazing in the listing, but in reality it is AH-MAZE-ING!! I was so happy with how beautiful it was. And the deck out back was lovely to sit and relax in the sunshine. Almost everything on my list to do in Bristol was within a few blocks walking distance. The restaurants all around it are just fantastic. Cute shops to visit. Bristol is a great town for a get away (be sure to go to the Country Music Museum) Karen was super helpful with everything I needed. She even managed to stop on recommend the most amazing meal I've ever eaten when I asked for a BBQ suggestion (seriously take their suggestions). Both Karen and Monica were very delightful, glad I got to see them in the shops below. The loft was right in the heart of everything, but perfectly secluded. I will definitely be back to this property or any that they list Feel lucky to have found such a gem!

What makes this property unique

Our loft is located on the second floor. Only 26 steps up to the Mountain Music Loft.

During warmer weather months, there several live music events, so there is a potential for noise. However, there is a city ordinance that all music must end at 11pm.

This building is over 100 years old and we have beautifully restored it. You will find lots of charm with a modern flair! We have very high cleaning standards, but you may find the naturally occurring brick dust occasionally. In the loft you will find exposed ceiling beams and lots of character throughout.

We have several fitness centers nearby that offer daily rates.
