Parfait pour être au calme, campagne et une magnifique vallée!

Pleasant Escape into the Rural Environs

We enjoyed our stay and were especially pleased with the privacy of the location. Xavier was a great host and we had some conversations about life in France compared to life in the USA. This was fun for us as part of our travel was to understand and share the perspectives of different places. It is necessary to have a car to go anywhere from this location which can be a liability for those who do not like to drive on the narrow rural roads. Everything functioned well at the house and it was clean and spacious for two people. We recommend this place for those that want a rural experience as a home base for visiting a very pretty region of Languedoc.

Attention: 2 gîtes dont 1 moins bien situé!

Je tenais à prévenir qu'il y a 2 gîtes dont un qui est beaucoup moins bien situé que l'autre: pas de vue sur la rivière mais sur un champs pas très joli. Ce second gîte n'est pas sur les photos et nous pensions arriver dans celui qui est montré sur les images donc ça a été une déception. Devant, une petite route ou les chasseurs passent à toute vitesse le dimanche dès 7h du matin. Quand on recherche le calme ça fait bizarre le premier jour. Sinon les autres jours c'est calme. Prévoyez des chaises longues ou hamacs car il n'y en a pas dans le second gîte et ça manque de confort. Sinon le propriétaire est sympa et nous a amené des bonnes tomates bio du jardin. Un petit conseil: demandez bien si vous serez logés dans le site principal ou celui du fond...
