Thank you for your feedback, Destina. We are so happy your overall stay at Paradise Cottage was amazing. However, we always strive to be better. It’s unfortunate you did not return our messages left prior to arrival and during your stay. We could have resolved the issue of the missing pantry space on the first day. The double wide cabinet under the coffee maker is always kept open for guest’s dry goods. There was a mixing bowl there and a few unopened dry goods after your departure, but otherwise, it was empty. Additionally, the three foot, double-shelf tiered basket on the kitchen peninsula is often used for breads and fruits. We try to leave some space in remaining cabinets for guest’s dry goods. However, most guests touch base ahead of their stay and are thrilled to find the other pantry areas well stocked. They appreciate not having to buy cooking oils, flour, sugar, spices, coffee supplies, tea, paper towel, detergents and other items that take up a lot of space in the car. Additionally, we would have been happy to remove items you were not using to make way for the additional space you needed; had we known. We did reach out multiple times to see how you were doing, but you did not respond. Thanks again for staying at our home and leaving a review. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable remainder of the summer.
