This particular property is most unique as having been built almost a century ago, has been completely renovated inside to offer all modern amenities of a modern beach house, whilst retaining all external historical attributes, (as well as internal).

The reason why we settled on this location and property was due to years of fantasising whilst passing through the area; hunting remote, uncrowded surf locations. This property is so unique due to its historical value and proximity to such a pristine coastline and amazing historical landmarks (i.e. the Wallarah jetty, century old village, etc.).

If you're looking to get away for a relaxing beach escape not too far from a major city, then Catherine Hill Bay (affectionately known as "Catho" by the local community) is a wondrous and unique destination where you may indulge the natural beauty and the most interesting historical value.

'Catho' is a quaint 'rural by the seashore' village that is surrounded by nature in a rustic and serene setting. You would be hard pressed to believe that you're so close to a major metropolis, i.e.: Newcastle just to the north, and Sydney an hour to the south.

The Hunter Valley situated nearby has a plethora of wineries on offer, set in a gorgeous rural setting.
