Loft A LA Campagne - LE Repaire DE Camille

Loft for 2/6 people, renovated in 2013, in Birkenwald, a small village typical of northern Alsace (on the border of the Northern Vosges, 35 km from Strasbourg), renowned for its castle, deer park and two restaurants popular with connoisseurs.

SURROUNDINGS:
The gîte is located on the edge of the forest with marked trails just 200 m away.
Ideal for visiting Alsace, we are 45 minutes from Strasbourg, 1 hour from typical villages (Riquewihr, Ribeauville and Colmar), and the Northern Vosges.

THE HOUSE:
The loft is on the first floor of a former carpentry workshop that houses my wine shop.
The loft is very bright with a view of Birkenwald Castle.

All shops are 5 km away in the village of Marmoutier and 11 km from Saverne.

Towels and bed linen provided.
Baby equipment available on request.
End-of-stay cleaning (€70) to be paid on site.

Visits to wine cellars or tastings can be arranged with the owner, who is a wine merchant in the village.

Great place to stay!!

We stayed here for visiting the Christmas Market in Strasbourg. The accommodation is even better than the pictures show. Matthieu is a great host, very friendly and had a lot of tips regarding Christmas Markets in Alsace. Thanks again for the great hospitality, we enjoyed every minute of it.

Loved it!

We spent a week in this very cosy nice well equipped apartment. Mr. Ring welcomed us and we felt very much "at home". Very good shopping 5km from apartment. Very quiet place and very green surroundings. We highly recommend this place. Only thing to improove is the internet connection which is a bit slow.....but that is actually nice sometimes. Not far from Strassbourg, many cultural sites and good local restaurants.....as we highlight "wd loved our stay".

Das Internet war nicht immer zuverlässig vorhanden, was uns eigentlich nicht weiter gestört hat, eventuell hängt es ja auch am eigenen Vertrag/Anbieter.Die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, was man wirklich benötigt ( z. B. großes Messer mit Wellenschliff), aber auch Raclettegrill, Tischgrill etc. Netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, der auch einen Weinschrank in der Wohnung bestückt hat, sowie Säfte vorhält. Die Getränke kann man zu einem der Qualität ansprechenden Preis kaufen. Der Vermieter selbst veräußert Weine, Spirituosen und Säfte. Herr Ring gibt auch Tipps bezüglich der örtlichen Restaurants und anderer Freizeitgestaltung.

Schöne Wohnung, prima Startpunkt für weitere Erkundungen

Moderne, helle und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung in einem sehr ruhigen Dorf. Die Küche war super ausgestattet und lud zum Kochen ein. Man sollte sich jedoch scharfe Messer mitbringen. Der Vermieter hat sich super gekümmert und hatte prima Tips- sogar für unsere Weiterreise.Leider war der Balkon tagsüber wegen stehender Hitze schlecht zu nutzen.Vielleicht wäre ein Sonnensegel hier eine Idee.

bonjour, je vous remercie pour vos commentaires, nous allons vérifier l'efficacité des couteaux (il est vrai que ce n'est pas forcement ce que nous vérifions automatiquement) en ce qui concerne la voile d'ombrage, cela est délicat, nous avons déjà essayé, mais en cas de violant coup de vent, il est préférable de l'enlever et cela, les vacanciers ne le font pas, c'est pour cela que nous avons opté pour un grand parasol, plus facile à fermé. Bon séjour en provence et au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau, peut être dans la maison d'Amelie ! hallo, vielen Dank für Ihre Kommentare, wir werden die Wirksamkeit der Messer überprüfen (es stimmt, dass wir das nicht unbedingt automatisch überprüfen) was das Sonnensegel betrifft, so ist das heikel, wir haben es bereits versucht, aber bei einem heftigen Windstoß ist es besser, es zu entfernen, und das tun die Urlauber nicht, deshalb haben wir uns für einen großen Sonnenschirm entschieden, der leichter zu schließen ist. Osterurlaub mit Familie

Wir haben unseren Urlaub über Ostern mit zwei Babys und Schwager, Schwägerin dort gemacht. Sind insgesamt sehr zufrieden gewesen. Leider war die Kaffeemaschine kaputt, der Vermieter hat uns zwar eine Ersatzmaschine gebracht, die allerdings auch kaputt war. Dennoch war der Vermieter immer sehr hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. In der Umgebung war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes echt wenig los, was aber dafür gesorgt hat, das wir gut runterfahren und uns erholen konnten.Mit der Unterkunft sind wir insgesamt sehr zufrieden und würden sie daher auch Weitempfehlen.

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Wochenende mit Freunden

Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Was nicht in der Beschreibung steht, ist dass es nur eine Toiletten ohne Fenster und Lüftung gibt. Auch konnte man die Toilette nicht abschließen, da kein Schlüssel vorhanden war. Den Gastgeber haben wir nicht persönlich getroffen, hatten aber netten Kontakt über WhatsApp.

nous sommes heureux que vous ayez passé un bon séjour chez nous. Techniquement, vu la configuration du logement, nous avons préféré mettre le salon et le séjour à coté des fenêtres. Cependant, il y a bien une extraction d'air (VMC) dans les toilettes. Pour la clé, je vais de suite voir pourquoi elle n'est pas sur la porte, certainement des anciens vacanciers qui ont du la déplacer.

Perfekte Unterkunft in genialer Umgebung

Sehr schönes Loft im ersten Stock. Großzügige Küchenausstattung, lädt zum selber-kochen statt Essen gehen ein. Wobei Essen gehen natürlich in dieser kulinarischen Gegend auch immer ein Erlebnis ist. Wer gerne Natur erwandert oder mit Fahrrädern jeglicher Couleur unterwegs ist kommt auf seine Kosten. Ein Segen bei Außentemperaturen von um die 30°C war die Klimaanlage.

Eine Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen

Appartement in de Elsas

Het is een mooi en compleet appartement met alles erop en eraan. Het ligt in een heel rustig dorp en mooie omgeving. Paar opmerkingen ter verbetering; - de wifi was heel matig ( niet het aller belangrijkste, maar toch). Is niet meer van deze tijd. - van de wc deur ontbrak de sleutel, dat is niet fijn. Deur kon niet op slot. - nadeel vonden wij de achterburen. Gaat de BBQ aan en je raam van de badkamer staat open, dan stinkt je badkamer enorm. Is 2x in 1 week gebeurd. Beetje rekening houden met elkaar mag wel.
