Lovely place to stay, peaceful , quiet setting. y Weather was great, pleasant area, great for a first time stay in France. Good contact with the owner, Florence, lovely lady. Would stay there again.

Lovely stay in Pirou

The cottage was lovely. It was very clean and spacious and in a very quiet area, within easy walking distance of the pretty beach. The patio area was very private and peaceful and the large shared garden area behind the house was ideal for children. The cottage was well-equipped, especially in the kitchen, where there was a dishwasher and coffee machine. The cottage was charming and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable, with two large bedrooms. Florence was a very attentive host, and provided timely information before our arrival. Checking in and out was easy and Florence was on hand if needed throughout. Thanks for a lovely stay, and the delicious cider! We'll be back!

Typisch Normandie

Wir haben 2 Wochen zu viert (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) in der Unterkunft verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Objekt ist wie in der Beschreibung dargestellt und alles war sauber. Wir haben die Nähe zum Strand sehr genossen (fußläufig 15min mit trödelnden Kindern), aber auch die Strände in 5-10Autominuten entfernt sind sehr sehr schön. Der Garten ist für die Kinder ein Traum und auch im Haus selber ist alles bestens ein typisches Haus in der Normandie. Der Kontakt zu Florence ist ebenfalls sehr unkompliziert und sehr sympathisch. Absolute Urlaubsempfehlung für alle, die die rustikale Normandie zu schätzen wissen.

Schönes ruhiges Haus mit großem Garten

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist schön eingerichtet, hat eine große Terrasse mit einen wirklich großen Garten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Nur die Küche ist etwas sparsam eigerichtet. Alles in den Schränken und Schubladen ist sicherlich 20 Jahre alt, es gibt kaum 2 gleiche Tassen, Pfannenwender etc. gibt es nicht. Die Lage ist gut und sehr ruhig, das Doppelhaus liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse. Der Strand ist in 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Grand repos dans un paysage qui reste soustrait à l'industrie du tourisme. Superbes plages, alternance de dunes et falaises, de havres et de petits villages côtiers au charme indéniable. Le climat, si souvent décrié, risque hélas avant longtemps, de faire du Cotentin un "must", une destination à la mode...

Fijne plek voor vakantie

Mooi huisje op n fijne rustige en landelijke plek. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Strand is een kwartier lopen, net als wat winkeltjes (oa bakker, supermarkt) en aantal restaurantjes. Heerlijke plek om Normandië te verkennen.

Wunderbar

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus in völliger Ruhe und trotzdem nicht weit zum Strand. Auch mit weniger optionalem Sommerwetter lässt es sich im Ferienhaus sehr gut wohnen. Von dort aus konnten wir mit vieles in der Nähe erkunden, Mont St Michel ist genauso gut erreichbar wie die Küste des D Day bis nach Caen. Sehr nette Menschen überall, tolle Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Calme, plage et dépaysement

Nous avons passé un délicieux séjour dans le gîte "Andrée" de Florence. Il est très lumineux, spacieux et parfait pour un séjour en famille avec deux enfants. Le gîte est idéalement situé, permettant de rayonner dans tout le Cotentin sans trop avoir de route à faire. Pirou et sa plage sont vraiment tout proches, on peut s'y rendre à pied sans problème. Le marché du dimanche matin est vraiment à faire, tout comme le château de Pirou qui n'est pas très loin non plus. Une bouteille de cidre de l'exploitation familiale nous attendait au frigo à notre arrivée, et avec laquelle nous nous sommes régalés! Florence nous a aussi très volontiers conseillés plusieurs sites à ne pas manquer de visiter, afin de profiter au mieux de notre séjour. Nous recommandons sans réserve et avec enthousiasme cette location.

Schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage

Die Wohnung befindet sich in ruhiger Lage ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg vom Strand entfernt (Meeres-Schwimmbecken!). Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, lediglich etwas mehr Besteck und Geschirr wären für 4 Personen schön gewesen. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die auf Fragen prompt reagiert hat. Unzählige Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge in der Umgebung.

A superb week in Pirou

Good location for the local town, Great Sunday market. Beach is superb - 10 mins away. Local shops, cafes really good. Convenient location to access supermarkets, boulangeries, and mother towns. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - peaceful and quiet!

Sehr schönes Haus

Sehr schönes Haus in der Normandie .Kurzer Weg zum Strand, wo wir lange Wanderungen unternommen haben.Den Burg von Pieou unbedingt besuchen,zur La Mont Saint Michel 70 min. Mit dem Auto (ein Tipp lieber gegen spät Mittag fahren da sind die Besucher Strömen weg.Am Pirou Plage sind drei Restaurants ein sehr gutes und zweites neben dem Bäcker mit spanischer Einfluss passt , gute Muscheln. Florence ist die perfekte Gastgeberin und immer zur Stelle, wir haben unsere Bettwäsche und Handtücher nicht mitgehabt ist uns aber sehr schnell geholfen. Wir hatten 7 wunderbare, erholsame Tage. Wir werden den Aufenthalt in bester Erinnerung behalten. Judith§Jacek
