Great walking distance to beach and the pier

Cute room with high ceilings, downstairs patio off the room. Very comfy bed. Has a microwave and small fridge. It’s a Ramada Inn, so there’s a simple breakfast , a couple cereal choices, toast, fruit and yogurt. Coffee and juices.

Convenient, walk to beach, great price

We had a great stay. This was a nice place to put our heads at night for three days. It is essentially a motel but they’ve done a great job making it comfortable with an outdoor common courtyard. Underground parking was great. Walk to beach and coffee shops. We had a great stay.

Cute updated hotel, great location!

We were originally thrown off by the lower ratings, but we were very pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel. It was super clean and comfy. The bathroom was a bit dated, but clean as well. Honestly great place for the $!

The room was ok the blankets on the bed were crunchy and kinda dirty but over it wasn’t a bad stay just needs more attention on the house keeping part. The staff and checking n were great thank you

This is a motel with awesome friendly staff

Very close to the beach - easy walk. Very friendly staff. Simple continental breakfast. If you are looking for an authentic VRBO for your family (house/condo) this is not it. This is a traditional (well cared for) motel - microwave & fridge & two beds. It was clean and the 24 hour check in worked perfectly for our very late night arrival.

Great remodel but dirty

The room did look beautiful with the remodel however our floors were so dirty our socks and feet were black. There were ants which bit us and crawled into our bags.

If you just need a one night stay for your cruise vacation, this place is California affordable. This place has no elevator, you may be on second floor. The place is very dated, but clean. Reminiscent of old time motor lodges

Great Spot!

It's a small property tucked away in the neighborhood. Looks like its been recently updated. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a bag-to-go with good stuff in it. Something I wish other hotels I've stayed in during Covid thought of! Centrally located for our needs and included microwave and mini fridge. Price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely stay here again!

It's just an OLD Ramada

VRBO ad made it appear to be much more than it really is. Not a great neighborhood area. Rehab work was long time ago and it looks it. Not that clean. Lots of road noise all night long. Unimpressed.

Not what I expected.

It was just a loud dirty hotel room, with no maid service. The floors have not been mopped. Walking barefoot my feet were filthy. The walls were dirty.

Pros and Cons

Can walk to the beach, beds good, updated room but don’t do a ground floor room. You will hear the guests above you walking on hardwood floors at 5 am. Also there was a noisy pizza party at the patio just outside the room at 11:30 pm to past midnight which disrupted our sleep. There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom sink every time you turned it on. The towels were soft and fluffy and clean but had a repugnant smell. They did replace it to better ones. There were dust webs over the headboard and dust on the wall over the headboard. Liked that parking was complimentary and had continental breakfast included.
