Hemlock Lake House - New Discounts for October and November 2025!

This is a wonderful, spacious family vacation getaway house, right on beautiful, spring-fed Hemlock Lake! Custom built in 2005 with 3,000 plus sq. footage, it has granite kitchen countertops, stainless steel appliances, sturdy dining table that seats 12, large kitchen island with seating, wrap-around outdoor deck with table & chairs, massive stone fireplace, and full finished basement with pool table, kitchenette, full bathroom, and queen bed sleeping area.

There is a lovely view of the lake from master bedroom suite and from most of the house, with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and a separate laundry room. Guests may use the board games, kayaks, row boat, and canoe that come with the house. Enjoy an outdoor fire in our newly renovated fire pit area.

This would also be a nice spot for a business, church, or large family retreat. It is a quiet and relaxing home, with many opportunities for water sports and other local activities.

Guests must provide their own linens: bed, bath, beach, and kitchen.

Beautiful view

This house is perfect. So many bathrooms and bedrooms. The outside with all the available paddle boards, kayaks and canoe is perfect. We enjoyed everything.

Nice lake house

My group really enjoyed the opportunity to stay for a week at this house. It was great that there were 4 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms along with kayaks to use on the lake. Second time we rented and were not disappointed. Sitting on the deck, playing pool, or just floating in the lake was enjoyed by all.

Beautiful Adventure

We were hosting our daughters wedding at a nearby venue. This home was an incredible landing place for all of the family from all over the US to stay in one place and be together. We love this home away from home.

Utility ladder for lake entrance

House was awesome! Everything was great! Only down fall was no deck ladder to get into water….a utility ladder was in the water at the end of the dock….not safe for elderly people-asked the neighbors to use their ladder.

Best extended family Christmas ever!

My husband and I decided to plan a family Christmas to include my mother, our adult children and our daughters fiance. The biggest factor was finding a place large enough (had to have 5 bedrooms and as many bathrooms s possible for everyone's comfort and privacy) We chose this home on Hemlock lake because it fit all those requirements and was centrally located to make it convenient for everyone to drive to. We could not have been happier. The home us beautiful, well furnished, with plenty of space and privacy, plus the kitchen is truly a dream kitchen- perfect for preparing and serving Christmas dinner. The pool table was a huge hit with everyone in the family and the living room was a great place to play games, relax and enjoy beautiful lake views. There are steps to climb down to get to thr house, so it isn't handicapped accessible and if you have anyone who finds stairs a challenge, be aware of that. But wow. The only thing that would have made it better was if we were there thr right time of year to enjoy the decks, kayak and the fire pit by the lake!

Clean, well kept. Sofa bed uncomfortable for older adult. Since most of the group was seventy or older the stone steps were hard to maneuver. We walked up and down the grassy hill instead which was not easy with suitcase and other things we needed to bring. Because of all of the openings in the walls, voices carried from the loft rooms to the main floor. The eating area is great for a large group. We moved things around in the basement and had a couple of friends that teach dance, do a series of dances for us. Everyone thought it was a great place for game playing and just relaxing. The view of the lake is wonderful and very peaceful on the deck.

We enjoyed this property quite a bit. It was clean, spacious enough for a large amount of guests, owners were friendly, beautiful views of the lake, etc. This property does not come with linens which was new to everyone in my group, which ended up working out without issue.

Great house and location

House was nice and had everything you would need in the kitchen. The owners were responsive. The listing did not say we needed to bring our own sheets when we booked so that was a suprise to us. The king bed is in a loft that has a beautiful view of the lake which is nice but VERY bright, there are no shades and it lacks privacy. Just be aware of that and plan accordingly.

Family vacay at Hemlock Lake

Beautiful property. Easy to get to. Plenty of space for our group of 9 with a few people coming and going over the course of the week. Lots of family time. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks and just relaxing on the porch. Very quiet and peaceful place.

Family Vacay!

We had a great time at Hemlock Lake. The house was clean and perfect for our large group. Had some rain and the lake was treated during our stay so we missed 2 lake days, but we made up for it at the large table doing crafts and playing games. The men fit in a game of golf. The boys fished non-stop. We would definitely pick this property again!

Stunning View!

This house is much larger than the pictures would lead you to believe! The wall of windows in the great room offer the most gorgeous views of the lake. The wraparound deck is shaded most of the day (in mid-June), so we were still able to be outside during our stay's unusual heat wave.

For our family of twelve there were plenty of beds and baths. Lake was clean, kayaks were grand, kitchen well stocked, and a very nice house. Definitely a “go to” house!

Wonderful stay!

My parents, siblings and our families loved our stay at this house! The ages ranged from infant, toddlers, kids, teens, middle aged and up! There was plenty of room for us all and something for everyone. We've stayed at several different homes over the years and we all agreed this was it! We can't wait to come back and make more memories. The house was clean and communication with owner was excellent!

Best Place On the Lake!

This is our 2nd vacation at this home. We had a large group of 15 adults and still had plenty of space. The lake views from the living room are gorgeous! We stayed entertained the entire week utilizing our boat, the house kayaks, and canoe. Fishing was good as well! The only issue we had was with 15 adults is we ran out of room for trash and could not find anywhere that was open to take the extra trash. If you plan on staying and not leaving for a week with a large group please consider this. There is a place only open on Sunday’s on Blair Road not far from lake house that takes trash and they charge $2 per bag.
