Pelican's Perch @ Villas on the Gulf

This 2 bed/1.5 bathroom condo has just been renovated and is FULLY stocked--Just show up with your swimsuits! This quaint thoughtfully named beach condo is the perfect, affordable getaway you are looking for. In less than a two-minute walk from the front door, you can have your toes in the sand, soaking up the sun on the Gulf. It features a carport for private parking, two bedrooms, w/ a King bed in one room, two full beds in the other, a couch in the living area, and a queen air mattress.

The space
The space is a non-smoking, 2 bedroom/1.5 bathroom condo located within the Villas on the Gulf complex. The complex has its own private pool that is literally just a few steps from the condo, which is great in case you want to take a break from the beach and log some time at the pool instead.

Villas on the Gulf is located on Pensacola Beach, along the Gulf of Mexico. The area is quiet, well-maintained, and tastefully landscaped that really gives it the feeling of a tropical oasis.

Unfortunately, no animals/pets are allowed. Violations to this policy will incur an additional $250 fee towards deep cleaning.

There is a toll to get on Pensacola Beach--it is a "toll-by-plate" so no need to stop and scramble for spare change on your way through. They will mail you a bill to the address on your vehicle's registration.

The door lock is a keypad deadbolt and you will have a unique user code assigned to you for the duration of your stay.

The condo is FULLY stocked. The kitchen has everything you need to make anything from ramen noodles to a 5-course gourmet meal. Need to bake a cake? Make a smoothie? We've got you. Additionally, we provide a set of beach towels, beach chairs, games, etc.

Great place for a beach getaway

The condo had everything needed for a stay. Walk out about 100 yards and you’re on a super clean beach with soft sand and crystal clear waters. The beds were super comfortable. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions or concerns.

Everything was clean and felt like home away from home.

Our experience was great. We had everything we needed and then some. There was everything from beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and even a cooler to use. Thank you very much for the accommodations. We will definitely be back.

Great unit in a convenient location

Everything was as advertised. Very clean and well equipped unit. Conveniently located on the east end of Pensacola beach, close to the National seashore and only a 5 minute drive to the pier. The carport was a great bonus as it was right next to the steps to the unit. 2 minute walk to The beach was a great plus as well.

Quick weekend trip

Condo was nice, very clean and host were very responsive and helpful. Pool was not available first day due to weather but second day only opened for 2 hours and never found out why. We would definitely recommend staying here. Condo equipment with everything you need for condo and beach!

We had a wonderful stay, The property was clean and communication very prompt from host. Easy access all accommodations needed in the unit . My only complaint is that we ended up in sweatsuits instead of bathing suits do to a cold front . I guess we just need to book another trip to make sure we get to enjoy the sun and waves next time.

Family vacation

We spent 4 nights in Jarrod’s condo. It had everything we needed. Checkin was easy and because no one was in the condo previously we checked in early with no cost. Beds were comfy and the tv’s were loaded with all the apps to make my teens happy! In about a minute you can be on the beach. Having beach’s towels, chairs, umbrellas, and toys was an added plus. There is a very nice coffee maker in the condo, but we often just make k-cups. That’s my only con is the lack of a Keurig.

Listing says it sleeps 6. We had bath towels for 3 people and the table pictured has seating for 6 but we only had 3 chairs. We eat as a family at the table... my husband had to stand every time we ate. Pictured is a cute barrel table with stools on the balcony. What we arrived to was a cluttered balcony with beach toys. The sliding door was difficult to open and once we opened it was difficult to lock. Coffee maker was dirty. Plastic Cups in cabinet has something stuck to the bottom and smelled of ammonia glad i checked before using. Silverware had food stuck to it. It says newly removated honestly i think they slapped on some paint. The tile floor had many loose tiles. The bright side was the beach is within walking distance and so is the pool. My vehicle along with others at this complex were flooded. VRBO was less than helpful. Do not park under this condo if it rains.

The property was perfect. It was clean, spacious, beds were comfortable. Really liked the layout of the bathroom between the bedrooms. Beach access was close and quiet. Loved that there was beach towels, chairs, umbrella and coolers. The place was perfect for us.

This unit is very well stocked. Plenty of beach chairs , pails even had sunscreen and beach towels . The kitchen is also well stocked. And the best part. Close to the beach. We will be back.

Great birthday adventure for 9 year old

Great little place to stay for a weekend. The beach is a short walk and so beautiful. About 7 minutes away from everything in Pensacola beach (Crabs, Flounders, etc.) Would stay here again.

Fully loaded condo

The pictures didn't do this place justice. It's came stocked with everything we forgot and things we didn't know we needed. The appliances worked well, especially the washer and dryer which was super convenient. The communication was excellent with details accounted for and super fast responses. Just steps from the pool and beach, we'll be back.

Perfect place

We came in to visit University of West Florida and wanted to stay at the beach. Having rented over a dozen properties through VRBO (and similar), we can say this was one of the cleanest and well appointed homes we have rented. The beach is 2 minutes from the door (walking) and the restaurants, shops and bars a 5 minute drive. We will rent here again.

Great location!

Owner was very attentive, and condo was perfect for our beach vacation! A short walk to the beach with great supplies for enjoying it. Having washer/dryer was perfect for washing swimsuits and towels.
