We have very clear instructions that state to go to the front door and even how to wake up the screen and use the keypad so I’m not sure why anyone would go to the maintenance lockbox located on the side of the house and not referenced anywhere in our check in instructions. This guest had difficulty with the checkin because they did not follow our very clearly laid out booking confirmation message that requires a prearrival form to be filled out prior to the check in code being sent. Even with multiple reminders, the guest didn’t want to fill out that form so they had to wait for check in codes to be sent until they were filled it out. The check in process is very clear and laid out for guests and is always best if the booking confirmation message is read prior to arriving at the property.

Backyard was cut the morning after they checked in. Our cleaners do their best to check the yard for dog poop but it is supposed to be the owners responsibility to clean up after their pet during their stay. I can let my cleaner know in the future to wipe off outdoor furniture every so often but we do have a yard with trees that always have dropping.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay! This is the first we have heard of any cleaning issues but I will be sure to reach out to the cleaners as well as schedule a deep clean for the house to remove any dog hair.

This guest was so pleasant during his stay - said everything was great and then once he checked out he came up with a whole list of issues and demanded a refund. We said no so now he's writing this retaliatory review that does not accurately represent out property at all. I'm not entirely sure what this guest is talking about because the basement bedroom does have an egress window. It's right above the headboard of the bed.I had a group checkout on Saturday and then this guest check in same day. When my cleaner went to the house she said the dryer wasn't working property. I immediately contacted these new guests to inform them and had it fixed the next day. It was too late in the day to get anyone there that day. They had no issue with this at the time but after their stay they said they already were doing laundry and it ruined their stay. We also had an old laundry sink in the basement that we do not advertise. My cleaner uses it for a mop sink. I'm not sure why these guests were using it but they pulled the faucet handle off the fixture. My cleaner fixed it when she cleaned after their checkout and we have since replaced the sink with a brand new one in case guests have the need to use the mop sink. They also mentioned a leaking pipe and took a picture of a small puddle of liquid on the basement floor. There was no pipe above this spill. They spilled something on the floor and then claimed it was a leak. And there was no sewer issue. We sent a company to look at this as wel
