This host goes above and beyond in communicating and being generous. The house is great! Never felt crowded, even with 5 sleeping in one room! Pool/backyard area is amazing!

Ranch Austin Wedding

We picked this location as we have a large family and we were in town for a wedding at Ranch Austin. Luis the property manager was great to get a hold. Communication with the property manager and location was the best part of this rental. Upon arrival, I notice that the listing is not right on the site. It shows this beautiful back yard, and clean back porch, with a grill. The yard is big but need lots of work weeds are overgrown and everywhere, the back porch has different furniture on it and was dirty. You could tell that no one has cleaned up the back yard/porch area for a long time. Once you get inside at first look it seems great, the more I walk the property inside I noticed that it too did not look as clean as it should have. Kitchen wall has food/soda on it, the refrigerator has no handles and was dirty inside. The bathroom shower curtain was dirty both the plastic and fabric one, the shower head was so gross I had to have my husband buy something to clean it. The master bathroom floor was dirty, and it looked like they didn’t mop. The bedrooms needed wiped down, there was dust all of them. The wet bar area looked like there cleaning people emptied the mop bucket water into the sink, it had hair and dirt and debris in it. The mini fridge had leftover drinks and was completely useless with the way it was moldy and the freezer was iced over. The a/c was constantly auto adjusting and making it miserable to sleep. There was also a crack in the back door.

Great spot for a group!

This property is exactly as described. Luiz was great to work with and accommodated our early arrival. There was enough of everything for a large group. The pool was very nice and clean! It was about 25 mins to/from the airport (40 during rush hour) and 20 mins to downtown. Lyfts and Fetii were always available. Successful stay overall... thanks!

My friends and I booked this house for my birthday trip. It was worth every penny! The host is very friendly and helpful. The house was absolutely beautiful and we loved the pool and hot tub. Will definitely be booking again!

Hurricane Plan B

The house was a huge blessing to us as our beach plans were washed away with Beryl. We loved the pool, hot tub and numerous bedrooms for our whole family. To no fault of our host, we never got WiFi because, according to the internet company, it was damaged by the hurricane. It did put a slight crimp in some of our activities but it made us play games and be together more. If I could recommend a few things, I would put some instructions to appliances, thermostat etc, as they can be confusing. Also there were limited towels especially in the kitchen, where there were none and wash cloths in the bathroom, also none! Lastly make a note on the listing that there a very few pool toys, so they can be brought with the guests and we don’t have to rush out and buy them. Mostly though we had a great time in the house and really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay in Austin - Highly Recommend

Luiz's place was perfect for our big group visiting from Canada. The spacious house comfortably accommodated all of us, with ample beds and a large living room and kitchen area. The backyard was a true oasis, with a gorgeous patio and pool that our group thoroughly enjoyed. Communication with Luiz was seamless, and he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. His helpfulness and attention to detail made the experience truly exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a better setup for our group getaway. Luiz's hospitality and the property's amenities exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for large groups looking for a fantastic stay in Austin.

Family Reinion on the hill

Great place to gather. Lots of room, comfortable, kitchen well equipped, beds are very comfortable. The outdoor area is beautiful with a great pool and hot tub and really nice view of the countryside. We would love to come back. The host is very accommodating and we enjoyed meeting him.

Awesome Austin getaway

We rented the property for the eclipse. The house is great and has everything that we needed to entertain 8 adults and 3 children. It is located close to the Wildflower Farm and several parks. Highly recommend this location.

Great spot for a large group!

We had a group of 12 girls traveling for a fun Austin weekend and this was great house/location for it. The house is about a ~20 minute drive to downtown Austin and pool/backyard space was perfect for having a chill day! Luiz was very responsive to any questions from our group and highly recommend you get the eggs from their farm, they were great!

Thanksgiving with family

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay! Our family of 7, our 8 month old granddaughter, and our dogs enjoyed every bit of the property. It is a beautiful home with lots of space and wonderful outdoor areas to play or just sit. Definitely recommend this location as it is close to Austin, but still feels like your in the country!

The house fit 13 adults comfortably, backyard/pool are as advertised and were used frequently during our summer time stay, and the location to downtown Austin and the airport was convenient, 15 minutes or so to each. Highly recommended.

Perfect house for 12 girls!

We had a girls trip here with 12 ladies and had such a great time. Super easy check in, beautiful house with lots of space, gorgeous pool, and lots of bathroom space which was key with so many girls. We ended up spending most of our time at the rental house! Would definitely stay again. Plus the fresh eggs were a huge bonus!

Perfect wedding home base!

We were there for our son's wedding, the house was perfect for extended family. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out as well as feel cozy. We spent most of our time outdoors on the back patio that has ample seating for a full house. Communication with owner was great. Our cousins rented the house next door with same owner, creating even more opportunity for family fun! Definetly would recommend!

Family Birthday Celebration

The Fox house was a perfect place for our family members coming in from 5 different states. Plenty of room for all to gather and reminisce, enjoy meals, play games, relax in the hot tub and take a dip in the pool. Bedrooms were comfortable for sleeping and prepared with clean linens for our out of town guests. Kitchen was stocked with dishes, silverware, glassware, pots and pans and cooking utensils to prepare meals for our guests. Communication with the host was prompt and welcoming. We will definitely look into booking the Fox house again!

Great Bachelorette House

Our group of 13 stayed here for a 3-night bachelorette weekend. The house was fully stocked with blankets and towels, lots of appliances and dishes/cookware available in the kitchen. Many fridges, which came in handy for all of our beverages for the weekend. The pool is not heated, but it was still fun to have it. The outdoor seating space was very popular, we loved hanging out there at night and also during breakfast watching the sunrise. The hot tub doesn't get very hot, but it was a great place to hang out each evening. There was plenty of space to park our rental car, and the HEB grocery right down the street was super helpful when we needed to make a couple trips throughout the weekend for more food/drinks. The place was very clean when we arrived, check-in was easy and the owner was very responsive when we arrived and needed the A/C to get adjusted. There was a funky smell when we arrived, but it went away once they addressed the A/C issue. Overall, Luiz was a very helpful host. I had to remove a couple stars from "cleanliness" because there were multiple MASSIVE cockroaches and some baby cockroaches that I had to get rid of inside the house. It was jarring when I discovered each one and made me really nervous because lots of our belongings and suitcases were being stored on the floor. They were humungous, I found one in the medium-sized bathroom and one in the adjoining bedroom to that bathroom. That was pretty gross. All in all, the house was great for our needs and the backyard amenities were for sure the biggest selling point. I would not stay at this house again only because of the cockroach issue.

So much space!

We had 12 male adult males in this rental. It was more than enough space. The pool was where we hung out the majority of the time. Everything was really nice and easy. This is a really great place to stay with a super nice host that is close by and can help with any issues that pop up. I would recommend this for any large group but it is in a residential neighborhood and you do have to keep the noise down.

Overall the neighborhood was nice and peaceful, I personally think maybe the patio furniture needs a update it pretty old or just worn out. House was nice and spacious plenty of room for everyone.

My name is Luiz Simoes and I am originally from Brazil but moved to this wonderful country 27 years ago. After 11 years in Michigan, I decided to leave the cold weather and move to Austin where I became US citizen and I am proud to call it home.

I have 6 kids (32, 29, 26, 15, 15 and 13) and love to be with them as much as I can along with my bull terrier.

Love to cook Brazilian style steaks and seafood, passion for photography and starting to learn woodworking.

I just can't stop learning and working!

Why they chose this property

I have recently added this property at my own VRBO listings, although I have been renting it since I bought it in 2015 along with my wife Amy Simoes through this site. In July 2021 I completely remodeled the swimming pool, decks and added a new hot tub.

My 2 vacation house rentals are next to each other in a 4 acres lot and they are closely managed and maintained by myself. As a matter of fact, I respond to all questions and concerns personally. I am used to travel all over the places and I have high standards for what a rental should include and how it should be presented, so I make sure the properties appear upon your arrival as they are featured on the website. As a matter of fact, we often have guest arrive and claim that it is much better than they imagined.

I want you to feel at home during your stay and I am happy to accommodate special requests, if possible.
