We enjoyed the area. Easy reach to pigeon forge, Sevierville, Townsend, Cades Cove Smokie mountain national park. Easy reach to Trillium wedding venue.
Had a great time! Stay was calm and secluded. Close to pigeon forge main attractions and easy drive to the cabin in the mountains. Good hot tub situation and very amicable host!
We stayed for five days, and it was amazing everything was 15-30 minutes away, but it was private and perfect to relax after a day of activities or to just stay in all day, Everything needed was provided. Would book again and recommend to others!
We had a wonderful stay! Lisa, was an amazing host and communicated very well with us. The cabin was very clean which made for a welcoming environment. Would highly recommend this place to others. We can’t wait to visit again!
Property was nice and semi private. Downstairs shower is small but upstairs is full size. Hot tub is a bit dated but worked correctly. Fire pit is near the woods and was afraid to use it. Overall cabin was clean, bed was comfortable, and all necessities were available. Will be back
My wife and I enjoyed a recent stay at this cabin. The location was ideal, and we loved the TVs, Jacuzzi, and covered porch. Our stay was during Hurricane Helene, so we didn't get to use the firepit. The owner communicated about potential squirrel activity on the metal roof. However, the noise level exceeded our expectations, making it challenging to sleep on the last of our 3 nights. Overall, a pleasant experience with the exception of the unexpected noise disruption.
Me and my boyfriend were visiting Tennessee for the first time, so we were looking for something simple, cozy, and close to everybting we wanted to try.
Hot tub and jacuzzi were clean, kitchen was well stocked, and everything was exact to the pictures provided .
The drive up to the house is pretty steep and curvy.
Two minor things. There was mold on the grill and the temperature inside the house kept on setting back to 75, which wasn’t the best feeling after a day out in the 80° sun and humidity.
We set the temperature back every time we came home and everything was perfect apart from that. Would definitely come back.
What an incredible retreat from the world. I needed a reset from my work in corporate America. Selected Summerhaus and cannot express enough how great this was. While neighbors are close, you would never know it. I spent 4 days sitting on the porch listening to nature, or sitting inside next to a crackling fireplace reading books I’ve meant to get to for years.
This cabin is exactly as described, and about as perfect a setting I could have imagined. Hosts were great. Short messages throughout the stay “just to make sure” I had everything I needed and that all was going well. They were fantastic and very quick to respond to any questions I had.
This rental gets the highest of recommendation for me. My only regret is that I didn’t schedule myself there for a much longer time. I won’t make the same mistake next time, I will definitely be back!
Beautiful cabin up in the mountains. Our stay was awesome and the cabin offered a respite from the business of Pigeon Forge. The host was very responsive.
Enjoyed our stay. Came for the Jeep Invasion which has become a big event for the 3rd weekend in Aug. Reserve months in advance if you want a place to stay. They go fast.
I can say this place is very beautiful and we really enjoyed it the property owner was very sweet and helped me out when I needed her she is a blessing.
Cabin was clean and cozy. Things we liked the most were a TV in each bedroom with ROKU, great WIFI, hot tub, convenient to locations. Cabin location required a difficult drive through some tight spots to get there. That is our only complaint.
Tha best place to spend quality with your spouse. The place is alsk a few minutes downtown.

About the host
Hosted by Lisa Killion
Lisa and Dave combined a longtime interest in the Smoky Mountains and in real estate by investing in Summerhaus in early 2021. Living in neighboring NC means they are close enough to be hands on managers, along with their great local team.
Why they chose this property
Summerhaus is close to the all the attractions, while feeling secluded and private. You will get the flavor of the Smoky Mountains driving some hilly roads to the cabin, but can still make the drive in any vehicle during normal conditions.
