Cozy Lake Cottage, in the heart of Indian Lake

Hello, thank you for checking out my lake cottage! This open, airy, incredibly cozy 1950's updated cottage on a popular canal is a perfect vacation home while you're investing in your change of scenery. There are two private bedrooms, one with en suite full bath. One bedroom has a King bed complete with brand new Puffy(R) Lux mattress and BrookLinen(R) bedding, and has been called by at least 3 guests now, "The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in". The second bedroom has an incredibly comfy Original Mattress Factory full mattress and Pottery barn bedding. Sleeping soundly is crucial especially when on vacation as you want to be as rested and relaxed as possible! The main BR includes a flat screen TV with Sling/Netflix, etc. The living area is completely open, kitchen, living room with the office/sunroom set off to the side a bit. The whole living room/front of the house is surrounded by windows overlooking the canal and boats docked there. We are 100 feet from the main lake, so it's easy to kayak there or boat, canoe, etc. Rental includes a HUGE slip if you want to BYOB (bring your own boat). There is no lift at the moment, but you can just tie it up when parked. Back in the heyday, this area was known as White Cottage Park, and the canal was filled with canoes, you will be provided with two kayaks and life jackets, oars, to use as you like. (Once you sign the disclaimers of course. :) please take them out and explore the lake while you're here.
This cottage has a large yard on the canal with a huge patio, parking for approx. 3-4 cars, and a fire pit. The property includes a huge slip/dock ready for your large pontoon boat, or whatever you like to use on the lake (there is currently no lift.)
There is a brand new Maytag washer/dryer in the unit, and bedding is included with your stay. The kitchen is fully loaded with the standard appliances, air fryer, slow cooker, InstaPot, utensils and dinnerware so you should want for nothing within reason during your stay. There is also a Keurig machine and pods available for your complimentary use.
There is a PUFFY(R) LUX king bed in the master bedroom with BrookLinen(R) bedding. The guest bedroom has an Original Mattress Factory super comfy Full bed with Pottery Barn bedding included. In the living room is a Wayfair queen sleeper sofa with an additional gel foam mattress pad for added comfort. The cottage also has additional bedding available via a twin and queen air mattresses with bedding included. The living room has two leather armchairs and a leather sofa. A large screen smart tv is in the living room, and both bedrooms also have smart TVs. I also provide extra bedding/lots of extra pillows.
We have at least 2 BALD EAGLE nests, and golden eagles have been sighted frequently as well. Heron (blue and green), hawks, turkey vultures, loons, ducks, downy woodpeckers, geese, swans, birds I don't know the name of... you may in fact see it all while you're here. The eagles are very easy to spot, and live here so it's very likely you will have an encounter if you seek them out. And it NEVER gets old, and is always exciting to witness them in nature.
The front yard has a fire pit and there is an additional pit on the patio. The patio has a solid wood sectional and additional upholstered seating available.
There is Cornhole available to take to the yard, as well as air hockey for a rainy day inside or sunny days on the patio for outdoor gaming!
There is a clothes iron and board, hair dryers, pack and play, vacuum, mini charcoal grill, full size Blackstone Griddle grill, etc. There is so much available here for you to enjoy. :)
