Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy

AVOID! Double-booked and no refund possible

We were double-booked at the location and upon calling the host one day before the start date for check-in instructions, he told us that it's not available and that it's his agent's fault for double booking and we should ask VRBO for a refund. Calling customer support, VRBO would not help us with a refund or a rebooking, so we had to go to a different site to book a last-minute lodging (VRBO wouldn't let me spell out the competitor), which has WAY BETTER SERVICE. Eventually, it took us 6 months and a threat of taking legal action before we received our full refund. Total nightmare with this host and VRBO for the way they handled (or not handled) the situation.
