Welcome to Côté Mer

Townhouse near La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré.
This new accommodation is located in the heart of a fishing village, 10 minutes from La Rochelle and 15 minutes from the bridge of the Ile de Ré. The house "Côté Mer" consists of a living room with sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there is a beautiful bedroom with a double bed (new bedding of high quality) where you can see the bay of Aiguillon. The bedroom has a private bathroom and a dressing area. The adjoining mezzanine offers an office space as well as a single bed.

The mezzanine is under the slope, the bed is preferable for children.

Linen: sheets and towels can be provided at an extra cost on request (€15 per person including sheets and duvet cover as well as a kit of 2 towels). Beds will be prepared. Tea towels and bath mats are provided in all cases. The coffee machine is a Nespresso with a metal capsule but there is also a French press. A small supermarket (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea and sugar) is available on site.

Esnandes has basic shops: bakery, supermarket, tobacco bar, pharmacy and a post office. They are all within walking distance (less than 3 minutes). There is a market on the square every Friday and Sunday. A seafood restaurant is open all summer long by the sea. Many coastal paths run along the bay of Aiguillon where you can admire the plaices and taste oysters. The fortified church and the shellfish farming museum are worth a visit.

A bus line passes near the house to go directly to the Place de Verdun in the city centre of La Rochelle every hour. The bus is free every first Saturday of the month, much easier to discover La Rochelle without the constraints of parking.
