Cinderella’s Guest House was a perfect stay for a relaxing weekend in Lexington and for good racing at Keeneland. Gae has a perfect retreat home in an easy location with enough privacy and oh-so-fun amenities. We loved it!
My wife and I stayed while we attended the nearby horse races at Keeneland.
The location and overall property was perfect.
We had a wonderful stay. Flowers and wine were a nice touch and much appreciated.
Very modern, convenient to many attractions, host was very prompt to adress any issues. Very clean, anything you would need to feel comfortable. Nice gifts from the host.
The property itself is truly beautiful, fresh, and goes above and beyond. Easy access to Keeneland, and just a short drive to everywhere else you may need to go. The owners of the property were extremely nice and easy to work with, and provided a truly memorable experience, allowing us to utilize every minute of our stay. Thank you and we will be back!
Gae provided every amenity you could need for your stay. Their property was very clean & organized including beautiful flowers & herb gardens. You will be centrally located to Lexington & numerous distilleries. Coffee on the balcony is a great way to start your day!
We absolutely love Gae’s home and the way she makes you feel like she is hosting family. So many special touches! Can’t recommend this home enough - unless you are looking for when we want to come down - please rebook for another time lol! Plan on staying for the third time soon!!!
First you should know that I have stayed at 20+ VRBO locations. This is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed. The amount of care and love put into this home is evident in everything about it. It is so well appointed. The first thing you notice is what a lovely area it is in. Very close to all the things we wanted to do. We came for our first visit to the Kentucky Castle. We had a tour and dinner there which was amazing. The best meal we had was at Maggie's bakery. They also serve breakfast and sandwiches. But they close early so if you want to visit watch the hours. And we also enjoyed out first visit to Red Mile Casino, But, back to the home, nothing is mediocre.
Everything is of the best craftmanship and quality. From the door handles to the towels and sheets. The blankets were amazing too! The bed sleeps like a dream. The Bathtub was my very favorite, it is a deep soaking tub that also has a wonderful spray feature. The owner left so many special touches all around the house. We had fresh flowers, two bottles of wine, butter cookies, wonderful coffee and a lovely bar of soap and bath bomb. That was the icing on the cake! The owner was so kind to give us a later check out as well which was so appreciated. This was mine and my husbands first time away in almost a year and I would'nt have wanted to spend it anywhere else. We can not wait to return.
Near to many shopping places yet remote enough to be very private & quiet at night. Very thoughtfully stocked house. Our reason to stay here were the many wineries within 30-minutes, we had GPS take us across the back-roads to be close to the "old money" beautiful horse farms of the east-central US. Highly recommended.
We were in Lexington for my daughter’s graduation from UK and this home was clean and comfortable. There were lots of little things provided (lots of comfy blankets, snacks, etc). The location was great for us because we wanted to be close to downtown but not too close. It was very relaxing and peaceful!
We loved everything about this place! It was in a great location, and was filled with so many loving touches. We stayed 3 nights, and didn't want to leave! Highly recommended.
This beautiful rental is like staying in a modern, well appointed art gallery. Vibrant artwork adorns nearly every room. The special features and thoughtful amenities provided by the host were much appreciated. We also liked the proximity to the U of K and other attractions.
This a beautiful home and it is so convenient for my visit. Has everything a person would need. Very quiet yet not in “the boonies”! I will continue to stay here.
