The house was perfect for our family for a wedding weekend. Located perfectly for visiting downtown Fredericksburg or historic sites. The location is very quiet and mostly secluded. House was clean and well stocked.

Third time staying at the property. It’s cozy and efficient and the master bed is so comfortable! I do wish the bedrooms had darkening curtains though!

We had an excellent stay. The house is adorable and the beds so comfortable. I think my kids had one “complaint” and it was no TV in the bedrooms aside from the master. We were so busy they hardly noticed. The pool wasn’t seasonally open yet but the sauna was wonderful. We would 100% book again!

The house have chemical smells probably some cleaning supplies, but we couldn't stay in that. Also main reason we rented this hone was for the pool and it was very dirty, walls are green and water was not clear. Home owner was nice to refund us full, and we stayed at a hotel

I am sorry that you felt that way. We use pine Sol for cleaning. So it may caused the smell. I checked the pool the day of your arrival and chemicals were within range. I noticed some light algae spots but I thought I could take care of them after your arrival since I clean the pool wall and bottom every two to three days while a guest is staying. The water was very clear on the day since I was able to see clearly the deepest bottom spot. But I respect your feelings and helped you get the refund. Before your cancellation, you could have worked with me to resolve the issues but you just sent me the cancellation request with your observation on arrival.

Our host was detailed and gave instructions in a timely manner. The house was as pictured and was welcoming. We felt at home there. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely come back especially in the summer to check out the pool.

Secluded and Quiet

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is in a location that is very quiet. More importantly the house was very clean with nicely updated bathrooms and kitchen. We would stay there again.

Meeting the newest member!

A jaunt to meet our newest member of our family. We were able to spend a few hours with him and with all of the family as well. Great location near DC and all the historical sites.

Serene experience in the woods

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay in this beautiful home! The area is great and it was so nice to be able to take walks in such gorgeous areas, right outside the home! The area was quiet and peaceful, the beds and furniture were comfy, the sauna was really amazing, and the host was excellent. We would definitely stay in this home again!
