I was very pleased with our stay; the description and photos were accurate and let us know what to expect. The location is superb for visiting the Cranberry Wilderness. It's on our list of places to return to.
Beautiful cabin. My nephew that was staying with us helped build that cabin many years ago. Definitely would rent again and highly recommend to others. We were having our daughtser’s wedding at the Barnett Cabins just 2 miles away. Thanks for being excellent host.
This is a darling cabin in Hillsboro Wv. Not far from Historical sites, Droop Mtn battlefield, beautiful Beartown Natural area and Cranberry Glades botanical area. We love our beautiful state and it was a joy to be able to share it with our friends who had not traveled to this part of Wv.
Great location for a getaway. The cabin was clean and well-stocked. Very convenient for hiking and outdoor adventures. Host was responsive and friendly.
This property was probably my favorite VRBO. Neat as a pin, clean, perfect property for my pet, equipped kitchen, quick responses from host. I loved that it was decorated for the holidays. Price reasonable for everything you get. Would definitely stay again!
Property was very clean! Had all amenities you could need and even included a couple visitors in the evening we enjoyed(dogs)! We would love to stay here again! Thanks again!

Nice Cabin
This cabin was very well stocked with all of the kitchen essentials. It was remote and peaceful. Would consider staying here again in the future.
This is a beautiful well equipped log cabin on a nice piece of property just off the main road. It was very peaceful warm and cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit and walks around the property. It's not too far from a number of local attractions so there is plenty to do in the area. Definitely a nice place to stay!
Stayed there while participating in Great Greenbrier River Race. The property is an absolute one off and everything you are looking for in your cabin stay. Would highly recommend this property, absolute treat.
My dad, brother, SIL, niece, and myself booked to stay here for my parents annual anniversary trip. We lost our mom last March which is also the same month as their anniversary. I decided this year instead of just doing a day drive I’d book this cabin for the weekend. It was peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. Wasn’t too far from grocery or food if you wanted to order. We enjoyed our stay and loved the friendly bonus cat. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin.
House is beautiful, well equipped and has a nicely themed decor. Be careful of the microwavable dishes, they will burn you if you reach for them bare handed. There are a couple of bowls that work great. New location is actually 52 Little Mountain Drive, so don't be confused. It is the first property on the right when you turn off of 39. The turn is almost exactly 2 mi from 219. We found so many things to do in the area, nature-related, so I highly recommend it if that's your thing. The place in the setting are perfect though for any kind of activities. Highly recommended.

Very relaxing
It was very enjoyable. Relaxing. The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond after I panicked thinking I lost the key code. The house was tidy. Beds were very neatly made. I do feel the house wasn’t as clean as it should be for the rate charged for cleaning fee. I would definitely stay again. If you go feed the neighborhood dog, Wyatt. He looks malnourished.
Family of five plus cat and dog. Love this cabin and property. Quiet development with each property being several acres or more, we had plenty of privacy. Cabin was very clean and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy time together and have alone time if wanted. Cabin had every amenity we could have needed. The property was very well taken care of, large mowed area around the cabin lots of trees and a picnic/fire pit area. The weather was great, we spent many hours outside laying on a blanket on the lawn under the trees, heavenly! Location was great, lots of outdoor recreation and small towns nearby for whatever food/supplies we needed. Internet was good, did some video calls for remote work and phones/computers. We would love to come back!
The house is clean, well maintained, attractively decorated appropriately for a mountain cabin and situated along a scenic route. All appliances were in good condition as were furniture and linens. Lots of cooking gadgets were there for guests. The setting is quiet. We drove around the scenic loop, had dinner in a restaurant and rode bikes on Greenbrier Trail during our stay. Well water occasionally had sulfur aroma when run hot but filtered water sources were at kitchen sink and in refrigerator so drinking and cooking water was fine Maybe the laundry water was filtered too; nothing we drank, cooked, or washed (including us) picked up any sulfur so well water wasn't an issue. I would readily go back.
This is our second visit to Little Mountain Retreat. We love the cabin and the fact it is just down the road from Monongahela National Forest. We love the hiking in the area the Case railroad and the people
