About this property

A charming Quercy house, recently and lovingly restored.

Charming little stone house located in the Lot Valley and called ''Le Bois Noir'' dating from the end of the 18th century and tailor-made for a summer rental.
We help you to spend a holiday in harmony with nature in the middle of a peaceful setting surrounded by oak woods and have opted for a house without TV & internet in order to privilege family or friendly interaction.
Located on the banks of the Quercy Blanc, 7kms from the river Le Lot and 13kms from Cahors, ''Le Bois Noir'' is located at a place called ''Les Grèzes'', 46140 Cambayrac.

This consists of:
2 bedrooms; 1 bedroom with a 140cm double bed and 1 bedroom with 1 140cm double bed and 1 bunk bed (2 single beds), 1 bathroom and a comfortable reception between 4 and 6 people.
Large room of 50 m2 with an American kitchen open to the living room and stone fireplace.
Kitchen equipped with a Fridge & Freezer, electric induction stove.
Small outdoor terrace.
View of a 3-hectare park.
Cellar giving access to a ping pong table and the washing machine.
Note: For more photos or explanations about the house, please contact us.

The house is perfectly located for day trips in the Lot Valley, and is close to famous towns such as Cahors (13 kms), Saint-Cyrq-Lapopie (45 kms) and Rocamadour (75 kms) ...
Abundant activities within a circle of 30 kms include: the river ''Lot'', municipal swimming pool, golf, go-karting, horse riding, tennis, paragliding school, canoeing......
The house is also about 7 kms from the village of Douelle which offers access to a supermarket, a bakery, bar and restaurants as well as to the Antinea nautical base in a peaceful and shady setting, on the banks of the Lot, for canoe and paddle rental....
It also offers a "guinguette" style restaurant with a breathtaking view of the river and the small castle Laroque.
The nearest town of a historic character is that of ''Cahors'': magnificent Pont Valentré, gastronomy, delicious Cabécou, Quercy truffles, largely animated with its restaurants, bars, cinema, market, shops, banks ....located 13 kms away by car.
The region offers plenty of other places to discover.
