Between the confusing and unmarked address, (15 B33 Osha?) the lousy directions, and the fact that you never answer your phone, (On hold for 25 minutes for assistacnce before finally hanging up) the arrival was rough. We finally found some neighbors to explain where the property was.

This property had beautiful scenery and between the hot tub pool table and games there was plenty of stuff to do to keep us entertained. My teenage son enjoyed the lift space as well.

Wonderful property!

We loved this property! It was so clean and cared for. Everything was perfect. It offered all the amenities one would need and then some. The water gets hot quickly and the wrap around porch was wonderful to sit out on and drink coffee. The hot tub was great too. We saw animals and enjoyed the quietness. The property is well cared for and was in perfect condition. Only 5 min away from lake and hiking trails. It was just my husband and I, but we already want to book again soon and bring the kids. Highly recommend this property.

Decent cabin in a quiet location. Overall it’s 3/5… make sure to bring your own pans if you intend to cook as the ones in the cabin are cheap and have been completely destroyed by others and there is no dishwasher. On the positive side it is very secluded, the hot tub is great in the winter, and there are plenty of games. Make sure to have 4wd in the winter as the road can ice over. If the pricing was lower it would’ve rated higher but they are charging a premium price for a budget place.

Had warm water at cabin a vasaca was little help. Sent a rep out and looked at the tank. Rep turned the thermostat up and down and said it was fixed and left. Text vasaca several time and there solution was to give me my booking fee as refund. That never happened….

This was a nice cabin in the woods.

A peaceful setting off the highway yet close to town and hiking, riding. All appliances were top notch. Tv, Internet and wifi were always on. Never a problem. Bed was comfy. Pool table a plus when it rained. However the place is a bit dark inside, lighting is minimal. Windows are small and some were bare, no curtains. But well screened for opening to the breezes. One other note about the lighting, there are no lamps. Zero. Reading in bed is by flashlight only. I would think some bedside lamps would not be a burden. Just saying. Overall enjoyed the time with my dogs. Tw

Great Stay, However...

This is a great little cabin for two. it is a two bedroom, one bed is a wall bed and the only shower is in the larger bedroom, so if you are with more than a couple of people you will have to figure out the awkward sharing of the only shower. The half bath is separately located. Our biggest issue was the washing machine that did not work past the wash cycle (no rinse or cold water) and the communication with Vacasa was by text or 1-800 type operator, no local help. That is a biggie for us, we pack light and wash clothes so the washer is important. So after a couple of hours waiting on a local response we just gave up and asked not to respond, we wanted to go forward with our vacation and not have to deal with it. Aside of that inconvenience the cabin was clean, we actually enjoyed being remote and also appreciated the hot tub working as described. We would have given a much higher rating with better communication and a washer the worked properly.

Freezing no working furnace

We discovered the furnace did not work in less than 30 degree weather outside. The cabin was 44 degrees. We reset furnace as instructed when contacting the management company. It did not work. We requested someone come to fix it. No one came out. I spent an extra $100 on firewood trying to warm the place up into the 50’s. I am angry I spent so much money to stay there. I would have booked elsewhere for the same amount of money or less that would not have required us to sleep in down jackets. Honestly, I would prefer to be reimbursed at least in part for having to try to troubleshoot the and keep the property’s pipes from freezing.

Lots of Issues

This was a very disappointing stay. First of all, it did not feel very clean. Secondly, they advertised 2 double sofa beds upstairs, but that is not the case at all. I wish I could post a picture. The two beds in the loft are very thin Futon style twin beds. They did not come with sheets. I'm not kidding. I had to fight for sheets. So even though they knew that we were coming and had six in our party, not only did they not make those beds, they did not even provide sheets for them. The pans in the kitchen were awful. They were rusted and thin, and almost impossible to use. Even though I contacted the property company immediately when we realized that the sheets for the beds weren't provided, they did not bring any the first day. Also, there were blankets in the closet that were dirty. They had clearly been brought outside and never washed. This is a gross house and I do not recommend it at all. The property management company gave me a whopping $150 back. For the love… Stay somewhere else! The only good thing I can say is that the queen bed was decently comfortable, and the hot tub worked. It had a weird smell and did not seem clean but it did heat.

Well…….?

Well Angel Fire is a great place to ski. We looked at a lot of places to stay and found this one reasonably priced for cabins. But once we arrived everything looked great and inside was like pictured. But once we got settled and using the kitchen the cleanliness started to show itself. I’m a coffee drinker and started with the coffee maker. It wasn’t cleaned it had dried coffee inside and out. I had to clean the burner because it hadn’t been cleaned and had old grounds all in it. ThenThe skillets and cookware were not clean. The first skillet had burnt on egg and something else but didn’t use this at all. The second skillet wasn’t clean but was able to scrub it to be able to use it. The cabin itself was nice but no circulation of air inside bedrooms or the main living area. So couldn’t use heater as normally would because of the dry air made your nose have that burning feeling. So we kept it on 66 degrees the 4 nights. And opened windows to get Circulation and remove dry air. It also had a fireplace but couldn’t use it because of the dryer. Also the owner should make the entrance coming in from the outside a little more accommodating for the snow tracking. They have wood floors there and in main area but only had small 30”x18” mats (3) to enter on. And with us 5 persons it was always having to use towels to wipe up snow melt. But on a positive note it snow the night after we arrived and the skiing and boarding was awesome!!!!

Great cabin! Beautiful area with beautiful backyard views!

Had a great time! The area is beautiful and super quiet. However the hot tub we were excited to utilize has the VERY strong odor of ammonia. Which means it hasn't been properly sanitized in quite some time. The property manager told me she would get maintenance out to check it out, but of course that never happened. Very bummed we didn't get to relax in the hot tub after long days of outdoor adventures.

Great location!

Great location just minutes away from Angel Fire Resort. The only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the mattresses are too firm for my liking. I actually ended up sleeping on the couch because it was much more comfortable. Also, there are no fans in any of the rooms so I bought a portable one and left it behind. I would only stay again if the sleeping arrangements were more comfortable.
