About this property

Large Family Home with Private Dock and Launch Ramp

Nestled between a picturesque working cattle ranch and the world famous White River, you’ll quickly realize why Native Americans chose to make this river bottom their home in the 1800’s. In a world of modernness this place has nostalgia. The uniqueness of this setting allows for a peaceful getaway yet easy to get to. Similar places, if there is such, require long commutes back into town on dusty roads with minimal cell service. Not here.
Located on the banks of the White River in Flippin, Arkansas, you are only five miles from a Walmart Supercenter, three miles from a county airport, and just a few miles from restaurants and coffee shops. A paved county road leads down to the home, which sits behind a privacy gate providing even more peace and quiet in a country setting.
The recently renovated 2,500 square foot three bedroom, two bath home is situated between the stretch of river known as Tucker Shoals and Wildcat Shoals and only eight miles downstream from Bull Shoals Dam - arguably the best section of the river for both numbers and quality of fish. A private dock and easy access to a private ramp nearby makes accessing the water next to unbeatable. Store your boat in the stall free of charge during the entire stay. If you don’t have your own boat, or aren’t experienced on the river, we recommend hiring a guide for a day of fishing on the river; all of which we can help arrange through our numerous connections to the area. Make it easy by having the guide pick you up at the adjoining dock while having that last cup of coffee before making memories.
While relaxing off the water, it’s common to see wild turkey, whitetail deer, bald eagles, blue heron, geese, and other wildlife both on the river and in the spring-fed pasture.
Canoeing and kayaking are popular activities along the river as well. Make the trip even easier by organizing a float from upstream with our place as your final destination.
If lake-fishing is more your style, Bull Shoals Lake is only a 15 minute drive away where you can rent boats for fun or sport at the local marina. The lake is home to large-mouth bass, white bass, crappie, and walleye. If you’re here for the lake, our home is setup with external outlets for charging and don’t forget the security of being behind a privacy gate on a dead end road.
Whether you are a group of hard core anglers focused on fooling world-class trout or groups of families and friends looking for fellowship in the outdoors, this place is set up for both. Enjoy grilling or frying your catch of the day in the spacious back yard while watching the river go by. Weather turn bad? No worries! Our game room, complete with a new professional grade shuffleboard table and 75” television, keeps spirits high. Speaking of spirits, no place better to enjoy some than in the climate controlled sunroom overlooking the river and bluff above.
The Buffalo National River is a short 40 minutes away. Branson, Missouri, home to Silver Dollar City, music shows, attractions, dining, and shopping is a little over an hour’s drive. The quaint, eclectic town of Eureka Springs is less than two hours away.
Inside this home you find the advantages of a place completely renovated. New appliances, plush beds, and an all new feel add a level of comfort not found in most homes along the river. Dining is setup to host larger parties but can be simplified for the couple wanting to spend the weekend alone. Outside every window is a view worth paying for. In fact, from the front door one can see both the White River and the lush pasture joining the property.
Don’t want to bother with the cooking? Our connections can have food catered in ahead of time taking the burden off after returning from a long day on the water. But if cooking is your thing, the downstairs patio offers a grill and R&V Fish Cooker. All with a view that would make most anyone want the job.

Bedrooms are created with comfort and relaxation in mind. Chromecast Smart TV's with YouTube TV are found in two bedrooms and in the large gameroom.

Spring Family Fishing Trip
The house is located at a great spot on the white river. We put our boat in the water two doors down and keep it at our own dock. On days we use a fishing guide, they pick us us at our dock. It’s our fourth time staying here and I’m sure we will again.

Fishing the white river!
We have two married sons and we all fit perfectly in this home. There is plenty of couches and tv’s to spread out or come together to play shuffleboard. The dock is perfect to fish from and dock our boat. This is our second time staying and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon.

Paradise on the White River!
ur stay in this lovely home exceeded our expectations. The house has been very recently updated with so many special touches that we felt we were in a completely new home. The owners stocked the home with many items that we customarily find ourselves having to make quick runs to the grocery store upon arriving at other homes. These are things that others homes don't always think of. The owners were also available to help us with issues we had related to our boat and our fishing, that without them we would have lost many days. The dock is amazing and so convenient. The owners recommended a guided fishing service that was beyond our expectations as well. Never have we caught so many and such large brown and rainbow (native!) trout. Unlike all of our many previous vacation homes in Florida and the Outer Banks, we watched no TV, and spent very little time on electronics because we found ourselves spellbound by looking out at the White river from the enclosed porch. There was always something to see; boats, people fishing, fox playing across the water, blue heron, pelicans and other wildlife. By far the most relaxing vacation in memory. We will stay here again very soon and often.

My husband and I purchased this large home right on the banks of the river to renovate into a modern getaway for fishermen and families alike. I am a semi-retired teacher, counselor, and administrator from the Flippin School District. In addition to hosting this rental property, I am back counseling at our local school. My husband helps run a local boat company and spends every opportunity he gets outdoors; either fishing nearby Bull Shoals Lake or the White River.

Why they chose this property

This property is unique because it is only a few miles from the quaint, rural town of Flippin, Arkansas but also isolated in a country setting. The home is located at the end of a paved county road in a quiet neighborhood behind a privacy gate. From the front of the home one will see barn next to a beautiful bluff with a spring running through the pasture bottom land. It's fun to watch the mama cows as they make their way across the field throughout the day. You might even be lucky enough to see a baby calf as it takes its first steps. The back of the home offers another amazing backdrop. There is nothing more peaceful that having your first cup of coffee in the climate controlled sun porch while watching the kayakers float by or dozens of fishermen try their luck at fishing. The large backyard is perfect for grilling or playing a game of corn hole. The attached dock is great for fishing, docking your personal river boat, or waiting for your river guide to pick you up for a fun-filled day of adventure. Inside guests will find two more separate living spaces: a living/dining room area and a game room with a professional grade shuffleboard table and 75" Smart TV with complimentary YouTube TV and Chromecast remote control. The newly remodeled bathroom is handicap accessible and the master bedroom has its own private balcony with a view of the river. A plush queen bedroom with a TV can be found in the second bedroom and kids will love the four matching twins in the 3rd bedroom. The home offers a large kitchen with all the amenities you need and even a few extra. Our goal was to make this home and property special for your vacation!
