Amazing Newark Gem

The building was beautiful, I felt safe. Being from Newark NJ and being able to come back for family occasions and find great places to stay is a blessing. The unit looked just like the pictures, the only down side, there’s lots of natural light making it hard to sleep in I wish there was room darkening shades to make it easier to sleep.

False Advertising!

The property was NOTHING like what was described in the listing. Not a luxury apartment at all. Nothing was new. More like low income housing! Outside was appealing, however there were men standing outside catcalling. Inside had dirty, putrid hallways, and the unit was unsanitary. Horrendous oven mitts, over-used kitchen sponge, found a bug in the bed, loose hair, filthy kitchen mat, dents and marks on the walls… I felt very unsafe in the neighborhood and within the building. There was a funky smell throughout inside with babies crying, people yelling. I was told absolutely no pets during my stay yet everyone I observed going in and out had pets of various sizes and temperaments. I walked in and walked out. I didn’t stay and neither should anyone else.
