WHAT YOU’LL LOVE:

The property is beautiful and offers a peaceful backdrop after an action packed day in Williamsburg.

We're local and have been hosting guests at this resort for over a decade. We will take great care of you.

You’ll love this resort’s indoor pool and three outdoor pools, including a kids-only pool, a family pool, and an adult-only pool!

Governor’s Green is centrally located in Williamsburg, super close to the Premium Outlets, historic Williamsburg, some delicious restaurants, and of course, Busch Gardens.

The kiddos will love the resort’s playground, mini golf, and fire pit perfect for roasting s'mores!

The 2 Bedroom Deluxe Suite has a king-size bed in the primary bedroom, two queen-size beds in the guest bedroom, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area. Two bathrooms, washer/dryer. Full kitchen includes a coffee and tea maker, microwave, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, stove, toaster, cookware, and flatware. Convenient comforts include cable TV, DVD player, hairdryer, AM/FM alarm clock, iron and ironing board. Max occupancy: 8, 1242 sq. ft.

Set just three miles outside of Williamsburg, the resort is in prime position to allow guests easy access to the rich colonial history that has made this area so famous. THINGS TO KNOW

A credit card is required for the refundable $250 security deposit requested at check-in.

Fees (e.g., parking or amenity fees) and deposits are set and collected by the resort and are subject to change.

As this is a timeshare property, you may be offered the opportunity to attend a vacation ownership meeting or timeshare tour. They may offer an incentive of free shows or gift certificates for restaurants. As our guest, you are in no way obligated to attend these meetings. Please be aware that any fees or costs associated with your voluntary participation is at your sole discretion and responsibility.

Please communicate the name and address as it appears on the photo ID of the (1) person who will be handling check-in at the time of booking. This is a requirement of the resort and helps to offer a secure and convenient check in experience for our guests. Please consider arrival plans so that whoever arrives first is able to gain access to the suite. The resort does charge $99 to change this information once it's been registered and the final confirmation has been sent.

The resort does their very best to ensure the suites are ready for check-in by 4 pm or earlier. However, sometimes housekeeping delays do occur. In these instances, the resort is happy to complete the check-in paperwork and store your luggage so you can relax and begin using the amenities. We are not able to offer compensation or refunds related to check-in delays.

Williamsburg Family Vacation

Wonderful place to stay. We had a two bedroom, 2 bath. It has plenty of space for our family. We enjoyed the pools and the proximity to all the fun in Williamsburg. We will definitely be back.

Very nice visit

This resort was very well kept, clean, and everyone was very helpful. The constant trying to get us to go to the presentation for the time share was over the top, but we understand that is their job. All in all we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here as part of a family reunion. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious and well equipped. Our unit was right outside the kids playground which was a huge hit. We would definitely stay here again! Great access to colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Water Country USA.

The manager was very nice and she made my kids feel welcomed. The front desk staff was helpful and had suggestions for local restaurants. My family enjoyed the pool, mini golf, tennis, game room and DVD rentals. The room was very clean. We hope to come back and stay again.

Great for families

We had such a great experience and trip. The location of this property is perfect for families traveling to see colonial williamsburg and other local activities. The condo was spacious and clean. Everyone was so friendly at check in. They saw we had children and put us in a building steps from the playground. I would highly recommend this rental.

New Favorite

We have stayed at at least four timeshare resorts in the Williamsburg area, and this is my new favorite. Indoor & outdoor pools, lovely grounds with nice walking paths. Pool table & foosball, beach volleyball court, basketball court, & tennis, 18-hole miniature golf. Clean, spacious accommodations. They also had a special event each day for guests. We went to the historic sites during the day and enjoyed the resort each night!

Activity Filled Family Vacation

The property was fantastic. Lots of activities and great pools for the kids. We didn’t utilize a lot of the activities at the resort because we went to Busch Gardens or Colonial Williamsburg every day of our stay. However it was nice to have them available and we visited the pool nightly. The room was clean and very spacious which was important for a family of five. The teen girls had their own room and so did mom and dad. The youngest slept on the couch which was a little hard but was somewhat expected for a pull-out. The sales team did try to call us multiple times during our stay but this was also expected and we just sent them to voicemail. Overall, a fantastic vacation. Great communication from the property manager and we are already looking at other properties they own.

All fine except for check-in

The property was great and fully met expectations, except for the check-in process. When the check-in basics were complete, I was directed to the "concierge" for the wristbands needed for access to the unit. This gentleman maintained a pleasant smile while refusing to take "no" for an answer for whether I would agree to listen to a timeshare pitch. One "no" should have been enough, but I had no problem with repeating this a second time. However, after a 3rd and 4th, dealing with a "why won't you" repeatedly, I felt this was not a typical VRBO experience, even from other times I've stayed in timeshare rentals listed on VRBO. Otherwise all was fine.

Relocated on Day Of Check In

We booked our stay at least 3 months in advance, but on the day of check in, we received a call from the resort informing us that we would be relocated to a different “sister” property about 2 miles away from our original booking. We sought clarification and recourse and were provided no insight into the reason for this change. We did a quick search of the new property “Kingsgate” and saw the reviews were much lower, amenities inferior, and overall quality inferior to our original booking. We sought a refund for the price difference upon checking in, and were rebuffed. The room was fairly clean, property well-maintained, but did not have the same type or quality of amenities that we paid for. This was a huge disappointment and we will think twice before booking with VRbO, and particularly this property, again.

Pleasant vacation spot but expect pressure from vacation sales team.

The location of this resort was perfect for what we planned to do on our vacation. It was within minutes of Colonial Williamsburg's visitor center and easy driving distance to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. The suite was clean, although a broom and dustpan would have been helpful for keeping the entry clear. The beds were comfortable and we loved seeing deer from our patio. We did have to call to have a tub stopper put into the jacuzzi tub as it was missing one when we got there, but the maintenance person was quick to bring it over and install it for us. We liked the amenities at the resort, and the feeling of safety having a security guard at the front entrance. Our check in was a bit rough as our room was not ready for us when we arrived an hour after check in started. We were told that housekeeping was almost done and just needed to do a final check and that it would be quick. It took roughly 45 more minutes before our room was ready. We also felt pressure to sign up for a vacation sales presentation as we checked in. When we said we would think about it, we were told that the longer we waited the less likely we'd be able to get a time that worked for us. We also received texts the next few days trying to get us to sign up and even saying that the person signing us up does receive credit if we do go to a presentation. This caused a bit of unnecessary stress for us on our trip.

Reunion

My daughter and i were meeting old friends that I have only seen once in the last 44 years. We were upgraded from a 2 to a 3 bedroom unit. The check-in process was very good. The grounds are well maintained. The property is clean along with the until being very clean. There are many amenities that we could have used, but chose to sit on the balcony and chat. We did use the grill making mealtime easy. The property manager was very responsive to my questions prior to arrival. I would definitely recommend this place. We enjoyed it proximity to several interesting places.

We were pleasantly surprised with a very large room/apartment. When I booked it it said 2 bedroom but we ended up with an extremely spacious 3 bedroom. The all around atmosphere was wonderful!! Perfect location for our needs.

Me and my daughter had our first vacation together since my divorce. It was awesome we mainly just lived at the pool. We cooked most dinners in the room. We both really liked it a lot. She said she wants to come back again next year. So I'm sure I'll get that room if available
