Casa Cascada is a spacious family home offering Costa Rica's best in luxury indoor-outdoor living. Panoramic mountain & Pacific Ocean views abound from this ridge-top location which floats just above the jungle canopy with waterfall nearby. Tortuga Beach and Ventanas are a 10-minute drive down the hill.

Casa Cascada is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home. With over 700 square feet in the main living area, which includes an expansive kitchen, Casa Cascada is great for mingling and celebrating special family gatherings. This home has air conditioning, solar, high-speed internet, just minutes from 5-star dining and the Whale's Tail National Park.

Enjoy cooking in our expansive kitchen with both mountain, westward sunset and ocean views! Deliver food and drinks through the kitchen pass through. The two master bedrooms with ocean views open up to the outdoors each with it's large shower. The third bedroom has two queens and one twin. The house sleeps a total of six!

The family living area is immense and draws everyone to a large island with views towards the mountain. Turn around and see the ocean in the distance. The breezes are unquestionably one significant attribute. The airflow allows for that outdoor living we all covet after our winters at home.

Our kitchen is well appointed with baking and cooking pans and blender to make those smoothies with farm fresh fruit from the Wednesday's market in town. Nearby is a "pescaderia" for local fish.

Ojochal is known for it's extensive selection of restaurants. Expats from around the world have come and opened restaurants serving their regional dishes. We are seeing new additions every season as we celebrate the new status of Blue Flag Community from the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica. This designation has a strict criterion dealing with Water Quality, Environmental Information, Environmental Management, Safety and other services.

Along with the many diverse offerings that Ojochal has for it's visitors, it also is home to Reserva Playa Tortuga. This organization has Environmental outreach to schools and public, with a Sea Turtle Conservation program, Tree Boa Population study and Mammal Inventory and Crocodile, bird and butterfly monitoring among others. All this and more awaits you to discover Puntarenas area of Costa Rica!

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

We stayed for a little less than a week, the house is located in the mountains and has an extraordinary view of the ocean. The swimming pool is perfect, the house is beautiful, spacious, and everything works as expected. Highly recommended for a total disconnect and perfect vacation.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We enjoyed the pool and the sunset every night. A must is to walk down to the waterfall. We had so much fun at the falls! This is a beautiful home. We will be back!

Incredible property!

This is a beautiful upscale home in Ojochal. The house is modern and immaculate and has stunning panoramic ocean views. We’ve stayed in many vacation homes, this may have been the most well appointed home yet. The hosts go well out of their way to make you comfortable and to provide you with ‘local’ insight to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The roads leading up to the home are not paved but our rental car had no trouble even in the rain. Ojochal is a magical oasis for good food - the restaurants nearby were our favorite in the entire country. Our family loved the overall balance this home provided and how much it enriched our Costa Rica vacation experience. Five stars!

Fantastic stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Everything was great. Location, space, amenities etc. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy and the views/sunsets were amazing. We would definitely return to this property and recommend it 100%!

We are a Texas Family that has been coming to Costa Rica for 20 years. It was my husband's dream to own property in Costa Rica and in 2019 we built Casa Cascada.

Why they chose this property

We chose Ojochal and this area for the surf, fine dining, exclusiveness of beach walks, and hikes into the jungle. The breezes on the ridge are without questions unique because how the house sits on the lot. It catches evening breezes from the mountains on the north east side and breezes from the ocean during the day.

What makes this property unique

Newly installed solar power allows remote workers to stay online. Our view is a spectacular and unique combination of Ocean and Mountains. The lot is just above the canopy of the rain forest which is full of wildlife that comes very close to the front porch where you sit with your morning coffee or beer at sunset. We have a Chef's kitchen that makes entertaining and reunions fun and practical. We have several Guaranmo trees that attract toucans right off the deck with pool.
