About this property

This is a beautifully presented charming home situated in the popular and tranquil Bywaters in the Hertfordshire countryside. This home features 2 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. The downstairs lounge flows seamlessly into the dining room, then on to the brand new glass-ceilinged orangery overlooking the back garden. The orangery is my favourite room in the house, the perfect place to relax, read and meditate, it has a very special energy. The kitchen has recently been remodeled and features French doors leading out to a secluded garden where weather-permitting there is outdoor dining.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with an en-suite shower. Plus, a guest bedroom and a large family bathroom.
The home is located in the sought-after Bywaters Estate. The scenic Grand Union Canal, with its picturesque long boats, is just steps away. There are 16-minute trains to the hustle and bustle of London, yet this home is a short distance from lovely country walks in Cassiobury Park and Croxley Moor.

Rental includes full private use of the whole house, with the exception of a small storage room upstairs. It has off-street parking for two vehicles.

Enjoyed Edale

We enjoyed a brief 2 night stay at the Edale. This is a lovely home that is well stocked with kitchen goodies to make our stay comfortable. There were a few small hiccups (mostly not understanding the British way of living :)) but Susie was very quick to respond and help us sort it out, even though she was in North America. Thanks Susie for sharing your family home!
