The Space:
The Summer Haze offers a tranquil outdoor deck, complete with private pool & fountain. The renovated historic Charleston home offers six bedrooms & six bathrooms privacy and space for up to 14 guests. The historic layout offers guests a truly unique experience of enjoying the quaint and cozy charm of a traditional southern home with all of the comforts of modernity. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the city from large southern porches on each floor. Charleston is at your doorstep just a short walk from King St. and nestled in the charming Cannonborough and Elliotborough neighborhood guests are sure to enjoy in diverse dining options and exceptional experiences. Cozy, modern, and well curated historic aesthetics make the Summer Haze the perfect space to relax and enjoy the Charleston charm while visiting the city. Parking for one in the driveway, can provide additional parking passes for street parking free of charge.

Guest Access:
Each Town & Island Co. unit is equipped with coded lock and unique codes that are changed regularly. You will receive all important check-in information 3 days prior to arrival.
Early check-in or late check-out requests are evaluated and granted on a case-by-case basis. We offer a luggage storage space with a coded lock in the backyard for guests to use as needed.

Town & Island Co. is now happy to offer, through partnership with The Wonderer, all guests 25 and up access to Charleston’s premier global-inspired lifestyle club. This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the peninsula.

Refresh and relax at the Jr. Olympic pool complete with pool-side cabanas or savor the onsite eateries offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and trendy cocktails. Guests can also enjoy an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost.

The Summer Haze comes with one on-site parking spots to the side of the house and next to the primary entrance. While theft is rare Charleston is a city and we encourage guests to ensure their cars are locked and all valuables have been removed.

Town & Island Co. welcomes all our furry companions. There is a $75 non refundable pet fee. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s), so we can add this charge to your booking. Please note: If upon check out, we see evidence of an unregistered pet, the $75 pet fee will be taken out of your SD authorization hold.
We ask guests traveling with their pets to not allow them on any furniture to maintain the quality and cleanliness of our human centered spaces. **no pets on furniture and beds**

We experienced a past listing with another company, we were almost left stranded. “Summer Haze” popped into our page and we couldn’t have had a better stay. With 10 of us, everyone had their own beds and bathrooms were in their room. The dining table was fantastic to hold dinners and games. The patios were relaxing and rejuvenating after a rough beginning to our vacation. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean and welcoming. The location was perfect for walking into Market, Kings, Meeting, and had its own little area of fun with bars and food! We were grateful we were 20 minutes from Folly Beach and 20 Min from Sullivans Island. Overall, finding this gem saved our trip from disaster, and we couldn’t thank the company enough for having us! They catered to our needs and we’re customer friendly. This place is saved for the future, we’d love to come back!
