In the surrounding area there are several beautiful villages, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List and deserve a visit. About 10 minutes by car, the Lac de Vassivière attracts with beaches, restaurants and a variety of water sports activities. Signposted trails let you discover exceptional natural landscapes, on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. In the winter months you can go skiing and snowshoeing at Gentioux-Pigerolles.
