## Emplacement
Paris's 5th arrondissement is very diverse: it includes the Latin Quarter, home to a large student population, as well as the Pantheon and its Rue Soufflot, one of the most chic and expensive streets in Paris, and Gallo-Roman remains, making it an extremely touristy area.
The famous Latin Quarter is a lively student quarter, one of the oldest in Paris. Its name probably comes from the fact that, as a university district, teaching was in Latin.
