The place has 4 beds including; 1 double bed and 3 single beds.

One queen size bed 160x200
A children's bedroom area with a 190 x 90 loft bed, and a new 190 x 90 pull-out bed (2 sleeps).

The kitchen / living room area has a new sofa bed (gray-green) and a modular table - extendable for 6 people.

In good condition, very bright and very quiet, this apartment overlooks one of the most beautiful courtyards in the neighborhood.

Apartment of character, charm of the old located in a very lively area with many shops, restaurants, shops near the Porte Saint Martin and the Porte Saint Denis and the Grands Boulevards to enjoy the Parisian Theaters and restaurants.

Pros: Amaury was a very nice, accommodating, and responsive host. Trundle bed worked perfectly for our two year old, and the kids (ages 5 and 2) loved the toys in the apartment. The location is wonderful in the northern Les Marais area, close to two Metro stops and a lot of restaurants. The neighbors in the building are very kind. We also appreciated to two sets of keys Amaury gave us. Staying in the apartment felt like a very authentic Parisian experience, since it is Amaury’s full-time home. Cons: The apartment was not super clean, and it smelled like cigarette smoke. We could not figure out how to plug the tub — I’m not sure the plug actually works — so the kids were unable to take a bath. There was no hand soap or shampoo in the apartment.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Amaury was great to work with. FYI…He does ask for 150 euros for the checking in process that I hadn’t seen listed. The apartment is compact, but has everything you needed. The toilet is located in a separate part of the apartment which was a little different. The neighborhood is super cute, off the beaten path, and close to a few metro stations making it really convenient! My family didn’t spend a ton of time in the apartment, but it was perfect for what we needed.

Cozy, classic French apartment

My family enjoyed this apartment. It’s in a convenient area, very close to several Metro stops, making it easy to get around Paris. Nearby restaurants and grocery stores are also nice. Would definitely return!

The apartment was great to experience the Paris lifestyle. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Apartment had all the host's belongings, which was a bit weird. But kids loved playing with all the toys and books available. Was very nice for our short stay.

Home away from home

Great location - 30min walk to Notre Dame. Easy to get to from Gare du Nord. Comfortable apartment, a bit cluttered but it’s their home. But because of that it’s set up perfectly for a family. There’s a €150 extra cash fee, fyi.

It’s a great place to stay. Great location, quiet, and close to everything. Lots of space for a European apartment. BUT: host demanded 150 Euros on check in and stated that it was a part of thenlisting when it isn’t. VRBO is useless when dealing with an issue like this and we were forced to choose between paying an additional fee and losing the booking. Mainly upset at VRBO for allowing it, but it started things off sour.

Good apartment in a great neighborhood

Everything was as advertised, and exactly what we were looking for. Great setup for 2 kids + 2 adults, and would also be fine with a third kid. Check in is easy, and Amaury is very easy to work with. Kitchen was easy to use, building was very quiet, and the apartment has a great view of the courtyard. The best part of this setup is the neighborhood. It's not a tourist area so you don't have to deal with all the issues that brings, and there are shops and restaurants everywhere. Multiple grocery stores within 5 minutes, a theater across the street, and everything else you could want within a few minutes walk. It's also only a couple minute walk to three different Metro stations in different lines, so getting around is extremely easy. Will definitely use again if we are ever back in Paris.

This place is "as advertised," which means it's tight quarters, but fully functional for a Paris getaway. The floors are beautiful, but ancient (two of our kids got splinters in their toes), the shower head sprays in 15 directions all at once, and there are things (books, toys, dishes, food, etc.) everywhere. It's very cluttered, but functional. The most annoying thing is the unadvertised and non-negotiable 150 Euros in cash that the host only tells you about after your booking becomes (partially) non-refundable. Essentially, the host is holding your booking hostage for 150 Euros because he can cancel it (again, unrefunded) if you don't pay. If you contact VRBO customer service about this, they tell you that's between you and the host and there's nothing they can do. If this extra fee were included in the booking, it would be understandable and transparent, but doing it this way is just wrong. What if my budget wouldn't allow for this extra 150 Euros? The whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth.

Nettes Appartement in toller Lage

Wir haben als fünfköpfige Familie im August 5 schöne Tage in Paris und in der Wohnung verbracht. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und gut zu erreichen, der Check in funktioniert gut und in unserem Fall auch sehr flexibel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die wirklich gute Lage der Wohnung mit netten Bistros und sehr guter Metroanbindung. Die Wohnung selbst ist gemütlich und hat einen winzigen Balkon auf dem man Abends zu zweit ein Glas Wein trinken kann. Wenn gerade nicht vermietet, wird die Wohnung offensichtlich bewohnt, weshalb sich überall auch zahlreiche persönliche Gegenstände (Kleidung, Lebensmittel im Kühlschank etc… ) befinden. Für unser Empfinden wirkt alles daher recht voll… Abschließend aus meiner Sicht noch ein paar Vor- und Nachteile des Appartements: Vorteile: - Perfekte Lage - Gepflegte Wohnanlage - Gute freundliche Kommunikation - Flexibler Check in Nachteile: - Der Vermieter verlangt zusätzlich zum über Vrbo bezahlten Betrag 150 Euro Gebühr, was die Kosten besonders für einen Kurzaufenthalt natürlich deutlich erhöht und mir im Vorfeld nicht entsprechend kommuniziert wurde - 90 Treppenstufen zur Wohnung Insgesamt vor allem aufgrund der tollen Lage daher (freundliche) 4 Sterne

Buena Ubicación. Departamento uso personal

El departamento está en una muy buena ubicación a pasos del metro Republica y en un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo, pero es un departamento en donde el dueño vive durante el año, por lo cual está lleno de sus cosas y de las de sus hijos, los que no deja mucho lugar para dejar las cosas de uno. Todo está muy desordenado y desorganizado. Tuvimos problemas con la tina que se tapa con el agua que se desagua de la cocina, nos bañamos con la tina tapada hasta los tobillos y con la ducha en la mano, ya que el sujetador de la ducha estaba roto y a pesar de que le señalamos estas incomodidades, eso no nos libró de pagar los 150 euros que cobra aparte de la renta por concepto de recibimiento y aseo que por cierto no es el más pulcro y para el estado del departamento, me pareció un poco excesivo. Fuera de esos detalles, el dueño se mostró muy atento, cordial y simpático

Positives: 1. Well situated near three metro stations 2. Nice area 3. Owner was very flexible in regards to check in time. 4. Apartment was clean with most amenities including wifi. Negatives: 1. Owner requested an extra 150 euros in addition to price on VRBO 2. Apartment is quite small -- 1 queen bed and 2 singles. 3. No A/C, though there are multiple fans. 4. 5th floor walkup (4th floor european). No elevator.
