... Artist Hideout... TOTALLY RENOVATED....

This is my own little 'pied à terre' in Paris... Totally renovated this Jan/Feb... New kitchen, new closet, freshly painted, floors varnished, etc..... ! Situated just behind the Picasso Museum... a 40-square-meter loft... wooden floors, unusually large bathroom (with bathtub!) with a wooden statue of Ganesh overlooking you; the place is full of charm... you are allowed to talk to the African paintings on the walls as well as native statues from Colombia and Mexico... the upright piano has been tuned this summer... The building is very quiet. The flat is on the 1st floor, a very short way up.

New full kitchen, new bathroom, new paint, new electricity, new a lot of things...

The place is very quiet and fresh. It has 'good vibes'... one of those places, for some odd reason, you just feel good there... That is what people tell me anyway...

To situate the flat, you are 30 seconds away from the Picasso Museum... a minute away from the now famous rue de Bretagne.... I will not describe the neighbourhood, you must know it by now...

Please note that there is no view... Do not expect to see the Eiffel Tower or God knows what other Paris monument; you will not.

It is really ideal for a couple; it is a little nest... Its strong point: it has a heart... it's definitely not your usual anonymous rental flat... it's little funky, but very charming... that's what people tell me......

I loved everything about my stay. The location is fabulous and the host was wonderful. Paolo stayed in contact with me, everything was easy. The apartment was newly renovated, immaculate, with lots of storage space, fully stocked kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows and linens were lovely. The apartment is located in Le Marais, one block from the Picasso Museum. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the owner provides helpful information to enhance your stay. It’s within easy walking distance to two metro lines which will get you to any place you may want to visit in the city. Many good restaurants nearby and within a ten minute walking radius of the apartment. The apartment feels must larger than the stated size and was a great place to relax after longs days of sightseeing.

Simply wonderful. Our stay could not have been easier or better. Paolo is a very good host and communicator. We had no problems finding or getting into the apartment. Great little spot in the artist district

The perfect hideaway in Paris

I loved staying at this property! The Marais area of Paris and the Apt is just great, super clean and easy to check in .Everything that you would want is there for you to use from the kitchen, bathroom and the bedroom. A hidden gem, in the fabulous Marais!

Returning and Getting To Know the Extraordinary Marais Better

This is a one of a kind apartment, everything and more than the high expectations that the photos and information conveyed to us when we were looking for a place to stay in the midst of the Marais. For a week we thoroughly enjoyed re-visiting old favourites and finding many more, helped greatly by Paolo's recommendations. We loved our stay in Paolo’s Place. The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. It was quiet, warm and cosy even on a cold night. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Everything you need was provided and the place was spotless. The washer and dryer worked well. The location was fantastic. Lots of cafes and shops as soon as you step out of the building. Picasso museum is visible across the square. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

Good place to come home to

It was not your cookie-cutter VRBO. It was interesting and colorful and gave us the feeling that it uniquely reflected the personality of the owner. It was a good place to come home to after a busy day. This apartment is larger and more roomy than the pictures show because it has truly separate areas, including a kitchen area, a bathroom-laundry room combination, and a toilet room (water closet, powder room). The amenities are also ample. We particularly appreciated the washer and dryer. One more thing: There is no traffic noise even though you are in a busy location. Stayed there comfortably for the whole month of July and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Parisian Apartment

We absolutely loved our stay at Paolo's apartment. It is located on a quiet, peaceful street that is just two streets away from a bustling area with everything we needed (grocery, restaurants, a park, pharmacy, wine shop, etc.). The surrounding blocks are filled with restaurants and shops, we loved exploring the neighborhood. It is within easy walking distance of Notre Dame, Saint-Chapelle, the Louvre, and the luxembourg gardens/the Latin quarter, and there are nearby metro stations that took us to Gare du Nord, the Eiffel Tower, etc. The apartment itself was spacious and we loved having the kitchenette and laundry. Everything was as described in the listing and it was great communicating with Paolo. We had a perfect week and when we're in Paris again we would love to stay again!

Matthew was extremely responsive and had great details for self-check-in process, as well as great information about the neighborhood. Apartment was wonderfully decorated, extremely comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed (even books to read and maps/descriptions of Paris). Neighborhood was magnificent. We felt like we were in our own little Parisian neighborhood as we visited the same Bistro every morning for our Croissants and Cappuccino and had lovely dinners at the the neighborhood Bistros every evening. Nearby grocery stores and markets had great items to bring back to the apartment and the nearby Patisseries had the best bread and pastries we've encountered! Easy walk to Seine and all the more bustling touristy sections of town. Highly recommend!!!
