This large studio, 29 m2 on the ground, duplex with a large mezzanine, a real bathroom, a large kitchen area, a beautiful office area and its large convertible sofa will make you feel in a comfortable and cozy apartment.
It is ideally located in the heart of the historic Marais district.
Completely renovated in September 2011, it has been carefully decorated and has all the modern conveniences, dishwasher, washer-dryer, television with foreign channels, and WIFI internet connection. This studio offers you two very good quality beds: On the pretty mezzanine a thick two-seater mattress and below, a contemporary, luxurious sofa, convertible into a double bed.
This non-smoking studio is on the 2nd floor of an old building, typical of the Marais with a very high ceiling. Without vis-à-vis, it adjoins the very famous department store Bazaar of the Town Hall and you will find the town hall square below. It offers rare clarity, in the center of Paris. A few minutes on foot, you can discover: Place des Voges, Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, the Louvre Museum, the Sainte-Chapelle, Île Saint Louis, the Quays of the Seine and its booksellers. By metro, bus or RER, you can get to: the Musée d'Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, the Château de Versailles, Eurodisney (RER B). ""

Great stay!

It’s e very nice appartment, clean and cosy. The host was really kind and the communication went amazing, we could always contact them if we ever had any questions.The location was great! It‘s directly in the center, a metero station is just in front of the flat.

Location, Location, Location!

We loved our stay and can't say enough about the great location in Le Marais! We could easily walk or take a tram wherever we needed to go. Plenty of eateries, cafes, and shopping nearby. The apartment was very clean and well equipped as described. As mentioned in other comments, in the loft with the bed, you cannot stand due to the low ceiling, but the bed is comfortable and there is plenty of floor space. I would recommend staying here if you have the chance!

Great location

This was a great place to stay in Paris! We loved the proximity to the metro and with in walking distance of so many fun things to go see and do. The flat was clean and the owner was very accommodating.

We absolutely loved our stay i. Paris , this flat was perfect for us. Very close to everything, very clean. Loved the bakery right down the street. Visited Fran price a few times during our stay. Felt like we lived in Paris staying here 😊

Location Location and Location

With a fantastic location, this wonderful apartment showed off as a great holiday stop, with a minute to a metro, minutes to Notre Dame and the wonders of the 4th arrondissement. The Apartment had all the goods to have a good stay, with full kitchen and even a bath to soak in. Two beds if the spiral staircase is a issue. Loved the stay.

Great Centrally Located Apartment

This is an excellent, perfectly located, Parisian apartment. It is steps from a metro station and a short walk to many attractions. The apartment is as described in the listing. It is located in a busy district so, as expected, you will hear city noises. Paul was an excellent host. I would absolutely stay here again.

A Great Apartment in the Marais

I really loved this apartment. It had a lot of charm with tall windows, limestone walls and old wood rafters, but both the kitchen and bathroom are updated. It is located on a pedestrian block and is only a few steps from a metro stop. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by and the Pompidou Centre is a block away. For those of you who may be searching rentals on lower levels, there are 39 steps from the ground floor to the apartment, quite easy, even with luggage. I recommend it as a great spot to stay in Paris. Paul was a great host, very responsive and helpful.

The problem was with the bedroom on the mezzanine...we cannot walk in the room the ceilling was too low. In the appartment The portable air conditioning in the window which should remain open it was, the appartment is very small.

Fantastic Location

The apartment is in a fantastic location, is well equipped, and Mr. Saidji was easy to reach and very responsive. It was slightly smaller than we expected and the mezzanine might be hard to access for people with limited mobility. However, the location and amenities, more than made up for the size of the apartment. We would definitely recommend it to friends. Thanks

Charming & Perfect Location

Wow! What a delightful introduction to Paris! Christel was prompt in her communications, informative and ever so kind. The flat was very clean and in such a convenient location— steps from the metro and a reasonable walk from most of the monuments. Groceries, pasteries and street side cafes all right out the door. We had such a lovely time Christel, thank you for sharing your home and making our first trip to Paris so special. We will be back!

Cozy Place in the center of Paris

We found the appartment exactly as pictured on the Website. The loft space does not allow one to stand but is comfortable enough to sleep. The place is great for 2 to 3 people. There is a queen size bed in loft space and a fold out queen size bed in the living room. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the proximity of the appartment to all major attraction. There is a subway entrance to the 1 and 11 Metro Line right outside the appartment and the appartment is within walking distance from the Centre de Pompidou and Charley de Hales station.

Best time in Paris

We had a great time, location couldn't have been better. Restaurants close by and train station right down the stairs where we were able to access all of Paris’s tourist sites. Communication with property manager was better than good, he came to house when internet wasn't working and was always easy to get a hold of on whatsapp. Special Note: loft ceiling is low and wife hit head several times so we switched beds with teenage daughter who were using hide-way downstairs. Most comfortable hide-way i have ever slept on….very impressed. We loved this place and will only have fond memories

Cozy good location

Not an abundance of room but I figure space is hard to come by in Paris. Nicely located by Metro and many cafes. Paul was a lovely host but would have been nice if he knew more about the area and Paris in general to be able to offer suggestions or recommendations. Also worth mentioning that it is actually on the third floor with stairs as only means to get there. Getting Luggage up there was a struggle but at least you only have to do that a couple times.

Perfect location!

This apartment is placed on a charming street in the 4th arrondissement. The location enables walking easily to sit at a cafe, or the metro outside the front door takes you to multiple sites and museums within minutes. We loved the old building with the comfortably renovated interior and modern touches. The feeling of this place and people was spectacular. Paul was very accommodating and quick to respond. We would highly recommend and we greatly enjoyed our stay! If you are very tall, over 6’2” or so, the loft could be a bit uncomfortable to walk in, but there is a fold out couch down below. We are so grateful we found this gem!!!

Lovely stay on a ped only street

My 2 daughters and I stayed here for 6 nights, checked out today. Paul was accommodating and allowed us to drop off our luggage after 12p and return at 4p after the apt was ready. Perfect size for 3 of us. Beds very comfortable and we had everything we needed including a washer and hanging rack. The location cannot be beat and walkable to Louvre/Tulleries, Latin Quarter, the 2 islands, St. Germaine, and the metro is literally 10 steps from the front door. I highly recommend staying here if you can. Book early (I booked it 11 months in advance) because it fills up fast! Paul also reserved a taxi for us to the Orly airport.

Excellent accommodation for Paris sightseers!

We highly recommend this safe, private flat for serious sightseeing in Paris. The cozy space has a bed and a surprisingly comfortable pull-out couch, good windows for fresh air, and a free-standing AC unit. Paul met us for check-in and had obviously been busy making the space immaculate for our stay. The galley kitchen suited our needs and included a Nespresso espresso machine with pods. Access to Metro 1 line is just outside the door allowed for quick travel to major must-sees: Musees Louvre, d'Orsay, de l'Orangerie, Tour Eiffel, etc. We loved being able to walk to Notre Dame and the excellent food in the Latin Quarter. Nearby the flat are grocers, restaurants, and excellent pastries at Gwen Choc. We would definitely stay here again!
