Great location for Lelanau and Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City. Wineries literally everywhere. Cute little cottage on lakefront. Did some kayaking and there’s a rowboat.
The cabin was exactly what we needed for our weekend enjoying northern Michigan. There is a small space heater as the only form of heat. It was colder than normal outside, but the heater and extra blankets made the stay comfortable!
We loved being right on the lake, kayaking each afternoon. We shared the lake with a couple of eagles. It was so convenient to be able to run across the street and pick up a couple of delicious sandwiches from M-22 Market.
The cozy cabin was perfectly located between hiking trails and nearby vineyards that made for the perfect weekend getaway to rest, relax and recharge your soul!
Great location and simple cottage. Good size deck with picnic table and extra chairs. Best feature is direct lake access with boat and canoe. Bring your groceries. Fridge and freezer and gas stove all in excellent condition. Will stay again next time.
The property had lovely lake and sunset views from the porch and front windows. We had the opportunity to see inside the two cottages on either side of this one (different owner), these were nicely updated - kitchen, flooring, A/C, bedding, decorations, and also provided kayaks for visitor use. Ours looked really outdated in comparison. Would have loved to have A/C on the super hot days/nights and use of kayaks as our neighbors did. The canoe provided was heavy and hard to move into the water. Kayaks would be easier to lift/move and more fun to use.
